Hello beautiful Kate 🙏 This was a pure joy to watch. Things are difficult here in the part of England where I live. There is a new, more infectious, strain of COVID 19 here meaning we are in a Tier 4 lockdown and cannot see friends or family. It’s Christmas Eve as I write this and we haven’t seen our son since January and cannot see my 87 year old father for Christmas. You and Rahul took me away to beautiful India for a while and I am very grateful for that. Yours and Rahul’s smiles are so bright and open that I just had to keep smiling back and the pair of you dancing by the side of the road was wonderful to see. Have you been to Surkanda? It's only 90km from Rishikesh and has the most fantastic panoramic views of the Dun valley and snowcaps. If you can, watch the sunrise and sunset. Magnificent!

Seen lots of Kedarnath vlogs so far and noted many similarities in all. But the unique thing that you did by sitting afar & sketching the temple & mountains was so touching. And walking barefoot.. 👏👏 I am sort of non-believer in God, without being disrespectful to faith but am sure such activities only bring out the true devotion and trust that Gods must be seeking for in their followers. You are lucky to see Kedarnath during the Covid time. When I went there a few years ago, the crowds were so large that it was difficult to move. In fact, your video shows it as it would have been centuries ago, when visits to Kedarnath would require travel by foot, so the crowd would have been small.

Let me begin with saying 2 things, about this vlog ! (1) I congratulate you for accomplishing your long awaited dream of visiting "Kedarnath" and hope that you have got whatever you have been hoping for. (2) This vlog literally provided me with a souvenir from you ! I saved the "screen shot" of the sketch of the shrine you drew, took a printout and now it's in the place of worship in my house. The background songs you added to the video go absolutely well with it, filling up my eyes; moved me. You telling about the sighting of a leopard, made me drop my heart too. That talcum powder trick works even better when you have scrub cleaned your foot. When you go hiking/trekking next time, take short steps to avoid running out of breath and don't let yourself roll down when coming back, take pause whenever needed. Dip your legs in warm water to relax your muscles if possible. Thanks for this vlog and take care of yourself......!

Really enjoyed this Kate. I have a suggestion for you. You should try visiting @kedarkantha. The views are so mesmerizing and breath taking beauty drives you crazy about the place. The trek of Kedarkantha starts from the village of sankri which is about a 8-10 hours distance from dehradun. You should definitely give it a try and you'll experience a next level beauty there.
