I had some 8” Dover’s. Went to Thorogood. This year I’m coming back to Keen. The T’s wore through the sole in 8 mos. Last Keens lasted a year doing industrial work

I’ve had these boots for about a year and a half for work and i love them but the outsole has worn out way too fast. The rest of the boot is built like a tank and could probably last a couple more years but i doubt I’ll be able to use them for much longer because the outsole rubber is too soft. Its shame.

Been loving the boots but the outsoles have started to split at the crease where I kneel down, which has let in water when I'm on wet floors. Warranty claim was approved, so I can get a new pair... or maybe the Cincinnati...

Keen boots are the best.. I have the 8" MT Vernon's and the 6" Dover's ..best work boots ever , especially for comfort

Keen Dover made in Portland OREGON. They hurt the heels of my feet. They don't support the arch of your feet. Ten hour days at work. Could not get past more than two shift with them on.

Does the composite toe make the boot slightly more narrow? My feet are average width, but wondering if I should order wide due to C T.

I had all of the yellow pieces fall off mine within 2 weeks. 5 months into wearing them the yellow cord broke. I can also feel every rock in these.

I'm looking at getting either the 8" Insulated Dover or the 8" Insulated Philadelphia. Which would you or anyone that sees this recommend?

The Philadelphia will be a bit thicker and and bit more rugged. The Dover is more of a light weight/ slim boot, but definitely still warm with the insulation and water proofing.

Looking for a nice pair of Water proof all terrain hiking boots. Really don’t need the carbon or steel toe just want something higher to keep fox tails out of my socks. I’ve owned probably 3 pairs of keens, each lasting between 1 and 2 years. That’s actually pretty good for me, a pair of vans last me 2 months. I still have my last pair of keens but they are pretty chewed up. My one concern with these is i keep reading that little string holding the middle lace wears and breaks fast? For $200 I’m hesitant. Any info on that?

Just bought some, havent worn them to work yet. Wanted in a wide but they didn't have it. They're fairly wide though in a regular.

@@justingreen8520 I ordered the 8” boots. The shoe vouchers I get from work only allow us to go to certain places. I figured paying out of pocket isn’t the end of the world. Keens may not be the most rugged of boots, but worth it.

I see a lot of people complaining of the yellow traction pieces coming off very quickly. Have you had this issue? It's weird they arent on the keen website anymore. Wish they'd release some kind of statement why.

kc D I emailed them about them not being on the site. Was told they are out of stock. But the day after I questioned the boots coming apart. My boots came apart. Sending them into keen to inspect. Said I will he sent a new pair of. Have choice of another. I’ll update you guys

Keen yellow tabs just fall off ,mines did the same thing these boots suck because of that.

@@justingreen8520 hey bud were these the insulated or non insulated boot? Ive head complaints about that grip system digging into peoples ankle bones, figured wouldn't be as bad with the insulation?

Any updates on these? Still recommended? I have a pair of Thorogoods non safety toe and love them. I am looking for a pair of safety toe but in Thorogoods they don’t work for me at all. Thanks
