Just a tip on the wall chewing, repair with plaster that has sand in it. Theres a premixed patch product at home depot for like 9 bucks "stucco patch" that keeps well in its little tub, applies easily with any card, and cures in a couple hours to chew-resistant hardness. Can just staple wire mesh over openings and plaster over that for perfect permanent budgieproof repair.

Such a peaceful little flock. With mine at hundreds i can definitely confirm its hard to keep them inside the house without me being thrown out. My outdoor aviary hopefully comimg next summer!

I admire the care you give your budgies I only have 9 I had 8 but 2 decided to breed but only 1 egg hatched out of 4 the baby is not 2 months old eating and flying on his own I wish I could build and aviary but where live it would be almost impossible to keep the vermin out of it.

the aviary is almost impossible with the amount of vermin squirrels , mice and others as well as the stray cats but during the summer when it comes to cleaning their cages I take them outside and clean them and leave them outside for the day on my deck under my watchful eye.@@alenaxp
