This is so true. I was diagnosed a couple of years ago and decided to get as fit and strong as my body would allow. I lost 20Kg and now I can do 40 press-ups without a pause, 10 chin-ups and curl 20Kg dumbells. I also walk a lot. This has slowed the progression of my PD enormously and also affects my cognitive abilities significantly. During the CV19 lock-down I was unable to exercise and I noticed a significant deterioration of my symptoms. Since then I have worked hard to regain lost ground and that seems to have worked at least partially. I don't know if it's that the brain gets more oxygen when exercising or what but if you have PD, please try it, especially if you've been recently diagnosed and you are overweight and/or unfit. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Oh, by the way, I'm 67 years old and am now fitter/stronger than I have ever been in my entire life.

@@lyndseymeagenwalker3057 Yes. Saw my neurologist last week and he seemed surprised at how well things are going. We can't (yet) cure Parkinson's but the least we should do is put up a damned good fight :-D

Parkinson's indicates unresolved rejection, massive amounts of abandonment, rejection and hope deferred. I read a book called"A more excellent way" by Henry Wright.

If that were true, a lot more people would have Parkinson’s. That sounds like a conspiracy. And it’s not helpful to people that have already gone through those things. It is too late then.

The real presentation begins at 4:28. All the rest of it is sentimental stuff about Parkinson's being a drag which I think we already know.
