Out there bikepacking when most are not (including me). A difference between 'what I planned' and 'what I did' is only a fail if you let it be. Days of adventure close to home and a great long form video to share with folks, looks like a win to me.

Enjoyed all of this with a warm drink, Josh. Made me smile in that flat post Christmas period. You're a legend on the bike and you make a very good film in a testing environment. I loved the Christmas feel, the countryside and the beautiful winter sunrises . Sorry you didn't quite complete but it was amazing anyway. Thanks for all you do and best wishes for 2025.

Hi Josh, can now relate to you in a unique way. A while back I saw the video of you falling off your bike and howling in pain as you slammed into that rock - couldn’t believe someone would make that noise. Having just been come out of A&E 7 days after being knocked off my bike by a car, breaking my collar bone, L1 vertebrae and getting a hair line fracture of the pelvis, I made the exact noises as you. Hoping to get back on the bike as soon as I can but apparently have to spend another 6 weeks in a body brace. Kudos for getting up and getting started again. Knocks the confidence out of you!
