Ahaaaa! I can see Kefton winning this battle, he had more obvious punchlines, but I definitely prefer Miguel's approach - having an overall flow and incorporating different patterns, etc. -

To me, the thing with Miguel and other dancers who sometimes struggle to make those complexities take them to the next level is *emphasis* and resistance Like 8:51, i would've added more force and precision to the kickout, like he came off flat in that part, and it was too big of movement to get away with being a little flat Then at 9:05, i would've incorporated a neck iso but create a time difference, then incorporate floats instead of just walking casually, then play with like the levels to sort of match the rising tone of the piano.

This comes down to two opposing internal metrics, for me. Miquel is clearly the better dancer at this point in time. Yet, Kefton took this battle. It was really close for me. I felt like Miquel took it down a knotch in the third round, and didn’t dance to his potential. Third round could have gone either way.
