The And brought me here and I'm so sad she doesn't upload much. The vids are few and way too short. Same for Andrew's channel! 😭 I respect the privacy though. Just love you, guys! Take care. 🌻 May God be with you.

My 12 year old daughter struggles with her negative thoughts, can anyone give any advice as a mother to help her while she is at home and school? she will be starting counseling this month thank GOD. please any suggestions for me to really help her in the future?

Foreverlove Green Have the school counselor check on her and ask how she's feeling. Put sticky notes in her room with positive messages on them.

Foreverlove Green honestly, your openness to her experience and the fact that you are asking this question will do her wonders. Be a safe person for her to talk to. don't take it personally when she lashes out (she will.) Remind her often that she is loved.

This comment is so endearing God bless your soul. Suggestions, I'm not a mother but I really felt an urge to reply to this. I'm just a 20 something year old student. Your daughter at school may get influenced by people whether that is positive or negative, just remember when you were a kid, put yourself in those shoes. As a parent I think it's important to never let go of ones core values and beliefs, always remind her of them. Make it a habit to practice gratitude daily whether that is just by appreciating the weather or whatever else. There are many things to be thankful for. They will become engrained within her and she will remember them for a lifetime and the negative thought most definitely diminish when one practices gratitude. Just from experience, in the home, analyse yourself be a person of action and good influence. We are all human and we all have insecurities but being a mother don't let your child become affected by your own insecurities. I'm not really a person to give advice lol. I hope I wasn't harsh. I really liked your caring comment for your daughter and felt like responding.... Read the book 'The Road Less Travelled, by Scott Peck' maybe get your daughter to read it too. It's a great book and the advice in it is phenomenal. God bless :)

Let her know in a tangible way that you want to be open about it. Maybe share some videos together that can open the dialogue about it. I don't know your daughter and you, so I don't know if she is open to speaking about it. People with depression need to know we can depend on you to understand it isn't as easy as taking a pill or therapy sessions and instantly we are cured. It can be a lifetime struggle. I hope she finds a wonderful therapist and I hope you guys are doing well, now! ❤️❤️
