The reason why there’s so much ‘bakery’ stuff is bc Australia has a huge coffee culture and (some) people like to go to Macca’s and sometimes just having coffee is not enough, sometimes breakfast is needed for the sake of it (explains the ‘bland’ flavour) Also, a spider is a soft drink with ice cream, it would’ve been weird if Macca’s didn’t call it a spider

If you want good quality McDonald's here in Australia to have to make sure you go to a company owned store, not a franchise. Some of the best coffee I've ever had came from a McCafe. They should've at least heated up the chocolate cake for him, the way it's meant to be served. The texture becomes very light and fluffy and chocolate oozes out the centre. I used to work at McDonalds back in 2013 as a teenager. There has always been memes about a secret menu, but in reality what it was, was menu items that were on the point of sale system that weren't on the official roster for mcdonalds menus. My favorite part was, often times, the pricing was way off. There used to be a big mac wrap, it had literally all the same ingredients in the same portions as a big mac but you replace the bread with a tortilla, but it only cost 1.29. I told a drunk dude about it one night I was working, it blew his mind so much he tipped me a 100 dollar bill. Its a story I'll never forget.

Storytime about the McDonalds at Yagoona (Syd, Aus). In the 80s, my mum and her friends were drunk and they wanted McDonalds. Only the drive-thru was open, not the store. They obviously couldn't drive, so they walked through the drive-thru, pretending they were in a car and making car sound effects. Rowdy as hell. They were't served, and to top it off, my grandmother was watching from the balcony of their house that was across the road from the McDonalds. She got in mad trouble.
@momomomo__4 жыл бұрын
That reminds me of something my friends and I have done multiple times. There's McDonald's across the street from our uni and, during the parties we usually end up craving fries (weirdly enough all of my friends including me are vegetarians so we don't eat much else from there). We have been completely drunk and gave random cars in the drive through money to buy us things since the store itself is closed. We've never been robbed and people seem to have a good laugh when they see us. That drive through has seen a lot of shit
