I think he’s more known as a met because he was in New York and he was the leader of the 86 team.

@f2a Finito Keith said "I'm a Met" when he was in NY so you can relax. He wasn't saying he's a Cardinal and not a Met. He's both. Keith adores NY and loved his time here.

Greatest defensive First Baseman ever in the history of the game PERIOD! To bad he couldn’t stay off the cocaine and booze, he ruined his own career in St.Louis. He would have been a HOF if he had.

He did lay off in NY and was a winner there. The guy was a winner and a leader, so save the ruined his career bullshit. Guy was one of the smartest players I have ever witnessed. So save it!

Looked Feltz, it’s not bullish!t. He did ruin his career in St.Louis. Follow the words I said, St.Louis not his whole career in baseball. He should of retired a Cardinal. And for that reason if anyone sticks COKE up their nose then yeah they wreaked their career. He was lucky enough to pull it together, but he pissed so many people off in St.Louis that he destroyed any chance he had of retiring as a Cardinal. Like I said anybody that sticks cocaine up their nose is ruining it for themselves, as far as your comment about what I said as being bullsh!t I guess you weren’t old enough or wasn’t around St. Louis when it happened, I was so save it for somebody else

@@superfly9173 I hear you! And I partially agree. If he did not screw up, he probably would have been a life long Cardinal. People are not perfect, especially when young and successful. No doubt it negatively influenced his career, and pissed some people off. but the guy was a winner and a very very good all around player!

Sad but true - Keith was HOF bound in St Louis and NY of 1983-89 was actually a tough spot for him - a crackhouse of awesome players. I was a huge Cards fan and still remember where I was when I heard Keith was traded for Neil Allen and Rick Ownsby. That trade wouldn’t have taken place if Whitey Herzog wasn’t worried about clubhouse baggage. Then Keith comes to Mets and gives them instant respectability (along with 2 rookies who also should have had HOF careers) !

It's nice to know I'm not the only one obsessed with the classic stripped baseball socks. Do today's players think stepping on their baggy pants is a good look?

Today's players are a reflection of our society. Personally, I've not only lost respect for the NFL,but; major league baseball also. The players are nothing more but ENTITLED BRATS. I haven't been to a game or watched one on television for years.
