Kieth, I own your signature model from 2015. The Lamborghini Orange, which is a sick guitar in its own right. Hearing you’ve gone with Fishman is a game changer. I’m sure the junky push pull pot and 3 way switch have been addressed. I went with a push push because it was bit aggravating to try and grab it in the middle of playing because of it being some what counter sunk into the body. I can see your new model isn’t like this. I still dig this guitar. It makes me want to play and makes me play better. My wife even noticed a difference. So, thanks for designing this killer guitar.

Are the pickups splittable? Or how can I acces the pickups’ voicings? I just preordered mine but I can’t find much info anywhere. LE: Oh I watched again, he says they are single voiced. Would have been nice to have other options but I'm still excited!
@karterestill5 жыл бұрын
So i preordered mine and I have asked the same question. Schecter told me they don't have the quick connections like the other fishmans. But a guy on the Schecter forum showed me the backs of the moderns and from his picture and explanation all fishmans can coil split it just has to be soldered. It's the first thing I'm checking when I get ahold of mine! The single coil sound of a fishman is unreal
@andreisevastre36595 жыл бұрын
@@karterestill Well yes, but due to the fact these are single voiced it may take further mods to implement a push-pull knob. I searched on the Fishman website and KM sets have 3 voices. I was thinking that given the fact the control layout is the same as Mk2 Schecters, it would also have push-pull. It has not, so this is a classic format - one knob, pickup selector and that's it. I'm curious how he voiced them for this guitar in particular
@gastonpossel2 жыл бұрын
@@karterestill Interesting. What did you learn from your guitar? Did you try to coil-tap your Hybrid's fishmans? Are this pups 4-conductor? I just ordered one of these white beauties, knowing it's meant to be single-voiced, but would be glad to put in a push-pull if it's possible to wire.
@karterestill2 жыл бұрын
@@gastonpossel I pulled them out when it came, to see if the options were there even for the single voice. They are not. It is a one trick pony. However, they are create pickups reallt versatile. They clean up very well especially in the middle position. I had to get a little used to them because by themselves they can seem a little thinner but, in a band setting or a mix that guitar stands out like nobody's business

Mr Merrow. I have but one question, as the high gain, low tuned tones are crushingly pristine (player technique is always apart of it), but how are the cleans on these pups?. I've looked for video reviews, but no one really explores the clean side as the cleans are a big part of my sound. BTW, I'll be tuning to F# B F# B F# B D#.

The pickups are moderate output. They work just as well for clean an mid-gain as they do for highly saturated tones.
