Perfect combo. I designed and prototyped that guitar (and pickups) through a very similar setup. Can't go wrong with a 5150 sig. I use a boost with mine, but it doesn't really need it.

Even with everything at noon and no boost it's still SUPPER tight and chunky! Haven't tried a Peavey 5150 yet, but I've tried the 6505+, and the EVH 5150 III (6L6 and EL34). The EVH EL34 was my favorite. I really wanna try one of the old 5150's!!

I will watch any video Ola makes with Peavey gear, especially the 5150.....but damn that guitar sounds beautifully sickening. I also really liked the "split" sounding mode. Very organic and grinding at the same time. Ola, RotW anything Peavey! And how about something from the all new BC Rich lineup!

I am not really a metal guy, but I love watching Ola's videos. This guitar and amp sound great together. I would be interested to try this guitar. I played the Mk2 unplugged in a shop and the neck kind of blew me away. It is so much easier to play than my Gibsons.

I really enjoyed the sound of the split humbucker with heavy distortion. It could be a pretty good way to create sonic differences between riffs. I might have to look into putting some of Keith's fluences on one of my guitars once I get the money. Also, May the 4th be with you.

I love and appreciate how Ola still sticks with the BOSS NS-2 which definitely gets a lot of smack. No disrespect to the ISP or the Fortin, if you are going to use them as a straight up "plug in and play" gate, then they are definitely a better option than the NS-2. The NS-2 however can be used in front of the amp and in the effects loop simultaneously which is where it REALLY shines. It also takes some time to dial the pedal in.

I have this guitar and I can confirm they’re not great in my opinion either I swapped them out for open core Moderns and much more happy with them. This sig set sounded muddy in the lows and shrilly thin in the highs. It was very frustrating
