I'm catholic and I'm dating a Protestant girl who is the daughter for a pastor🙊... Its been 1yr now since we are dating ... Would you please pray for me that it will be successful🙏... @musicfreak You do know she’s going to try to convert you to Protestantism if not her definitely her father. Only God can convert her, not you. Good luck if she’s the daughter of a pastor she’s not going to convert for YOU unless she’s rebelling against Daddy, or just to get married and do you really want that? I don’t date or get into courtships with non Catholics, no missionary dating, they don’t get past the friendship stage I find out early 1st or second outing. No need to get emotionally attached or drag it out. Can’t get into a serious relationship with someone who doesn’t share and believe my faith the way I do, it’s just another obstacle that’s unnecessary. It’s not compatible. A house divided cannot stand.

@@r1na7di, there are so many thousands upon thousands converts in EWTN Journey Home program in youtube, you can watch with her the testimony of former pastors, preachers, etc. and the founder of that program was former Lutheran pastor, he founded that program almost 30 years now.

@Rinaldi Sangma As a Catholic convert mother of 2 confirmed adult sons who would not exist if my Catholic husband believed we couldn't date. I was a Protestant when we married. Thank God he didn't feel that way, instead his mother prayed many rosaries which no doubt led to me converting to Catholicism and our sons being raised to adulthood in the Catholic Church. I wouldn't put the brakes on what the Holy Spirit can do in your lives with the love you share--there is hope. God knows your hearts.

I especially liked the point/part where you said, take note or observe how someone you know treats people who serves them or who cannot repay them. That's a fundamental aspect for me. Great video with great advice, good points, especially for the younger generation who are at the dating age or, even for older people, who, for one reason or another, are back in the dating scene. Friendship is key! It’s a great foundation for any relationship. One step at a time, get to know what makes someone tic! Be careful of what the world/society/media are pushing as their ideal lifestyles that could be more detrimental to relationships because of their negative, sly deterrent from the truth! God’s truth!

Wow this was beautiful. Man I've had a hard time understanding dating and even friendships with girls. Boy this reliefs me so much. I think I've had to many thoughts from the world (primarily the media) that I needed to treat things a certain way. I've honestly been petrified of hurting the girl I like and it's I think putting more a strain on the friendship because of my constant worry of not wanting to offend her that she won't want to date me. Thank you this has truly helped.

I like this but perhaps it should include evidence that his methods work well. Also, I tend to think that interior building is of extreme importance. We cannot go wrong with prayer. It's difficult in this world to acquire good social experience but it helps a lot, for example when a girl answers vaguely instead of directly. Finally, find a way to move on fast when something isn't working well enough. He actually touched on that one in regard to being broken up with. A good video I think. All the best!

Hi, I'm catholic and have been growing in my faith in recent times. My boyfriend grew up baptist, but never truly followed it the way baptists do. He believes and loves God. He has good morals and ideals. Sees relationships and marriage the way I do. He also loves that I'm growing closer to the church and to God. He is also open and wants to learn about catholicism. However, he does struggle with understanding a lot of what we believe to be true. Ex. The Eucharist (as most protestants believe it is a symbol and not God) He wants to understand and grow, but i don't know how else to explain it. It's something I never questioned to be a symbol as I grew up catholic and always understood that it is truly God

Sarita, I have a wonderful Catholic friend who is married to a non-Catholic! There's a monthly Catholic event that involves Adoration. I've never seen this friend at this event without her husband! Long story short invite your boyfriend to adoration. Praying for you 🙏

I dont think I have ever seen people not do it the worlds way . Catholics and protestants just do another variation of the worlds way. As far as why people get together goes . Its always the same women go for the guy that turns them on . same with guys . having the same beliefs really doesnt have any influence on peoples choices. If it works out that way . It makes a prettier picture. Basically no matter what your beliefs are if your a guy it helps very much to be tall and the other thing is to make good amount of money or the almost certain potential to make a lot of money. For a guy you dont have to be really handsome or a pretty boy but the taller the better up to about 6 ft 4 in. or so . I dont want to put it down or complain it is what it is but people choose each other because of reasons that are selfish and shallow or they seem that way. I wish people would be more honest about marriage. That being said no matter if you are married or alone It is very important to live life according to what Jesus taught Marriage is for people the world smiles on . single and alone is for the ones the world poops on. God wants to save people in both categories .
