@sbeer6er I would imagine they could do this just like any other job. Most of the people in the cast have degrees in music. I can tell you from personal experience that if you place drumsticks, mallets, popsicle sticks,pencils, or any 2 objects in the hands of a curious child, all surfaces are fair game to become drums.

No amount of me rereading what you wrote will give it back the sense that you took from it. "Blue Man Group evolved this" is ambiguous. It can be read in one way with sense and one way without. It's wrong to assume that your writing will be read a certain way if there are multiple possibilities for interpretation.
