Ray Dorset aka mungo jerry wrote this song with Elvis in mind but he unfortunately passed away before it got to him so Ray got Kelly to sing it and it went to number 1 in the charts. This was ray's third number 1 which he wrote. The others being in the summertime and baby jump.

Anyone else notice that it's the same exact vocal track used from her performance from 1980 typically her voice would have aged and gone to a slightly lower register. Don't get me wrong she's clearly having fun lipsyncing and it's too her much younger voice so go her.
