Kelly Stepped In For Simon Cowell On 'AGT' When He Broke His Back

Simon Cowell reveals that he had surgery to place a metal rod on his spine after breaking his back last year. He thanks Kelly for filling in for him on "America's Got Talent" while he recovered, but says that although she did a great job as a judge, her British accent was "dreadful.

I have a titanium steel rod and screws in my back on my spine. I had double scoliosis

I have been told I'll eventually need a metal rod put in my spine due to it curving as I have some prolapsed discs in my T10, T11 & T12 area, I suffer from spasms around that area from my muscles trying to stop the curvature. I hope you are doing as well as you can with everything you're going through, remember that it doesn't define you & even though we can't do some of the things we used to doesn't mean we can do nothing. Sending you a virtual hug hopefully one day they'll be able to come up with something better than metal in our bodies, medication or injections. I'm supposed to be getting Botox injections in my back as the Doctor wants to try something different since they just keep changing my medication & they cause their own problems 🙄 hopefully it'll help. Anyway I hope you & your loved ones are doing okay during the current times stay safe 💛 sending love, positive thoughts & best wishes for the future.
