Hi Kelly! I was a loyal Olaplex user but when I tried K18 it was a game changer! Even my hairdresser told me that K18 is way better for the hair than Olaplex even though they use Olaplex in their salon so I know he wasn't trying to "sell" me on it. The treatment and the oil have changed my hair completely, it's worth trying.

i’ve heard this too, it’s just quite a bit more expensive than olaplex. but that it’s objectively a better range of products

I bought K18 twice I wait for a sale though. Still expensive. I use it for the first 3 washes then after as needed. It stops breakage in its tracks. I will say similar to Olaplex if you don’t damage your hair it is a waste. No need to buy it. A regular occasional protein treatment would suffice.

I’m not sure the tower28 spray could really be worth it when you can get the same thing in the wound care aisle of the pharmacy for 1/2 the price, but I do think it’s cool they are making people aware of hypochlorous acid. I would say that you are not missing out at all by passing up on Tower 28 cream blushes. I bought one a good while back. I've tested it many times and it's got no lasting power what so ever. The only cream blush that that i feel actually does last is the one from Honest Beauty. Probably because it's a thicker formula. The brush you use matters immensely because initially I used my fingers and it never lasted. I now use a cheap stippling brush and it's become one of my favorite blushes. It's not greasy at all but not matte either. It's just gives you a perfect healthy skin look.

The tower 28 and kosas cream blushes are objectively my favorite cream blush formulas of all time. However, I haven’t had them for a while and probably will hold off repurchasing both for a very long time because they both go bad extremely quickly. Even for a cream blush. 6-8 months is all you get in my experience. If you only have one cream blush, you use it every day, and pan it in less than a year. Go for it. If not, the Milani cheek kiss are beautiful, less expensive, very similar, and don’t go bad nearly as quickly.

Ok, but as someone with fine hair, I actually love the thermal brush so much. Its really good for people who shower at night and airdry their hair and want to smooth it out in the morning. It doesn’t really make it straight, you can flip the ends slightly and it adds a nice wave. I gotta tell you. That K18 mask has no equal. It repairs your hair from the inside, not the surface. It's so good that you can't even use it too frequently. It's been hyped since last fall for a really good reason. The Tower 28 cream blush is very emollient, very oil based, like a thinner vaseline. I don't know that you would love them. The cream in the Patrick Ta blush is less greasy and comes in many beautiful shades that are not bright pink.

Patrick Ta's Major Headlines "She's That Girl" blush is beautiful. I bought it and my daughter asked if she could try it. Hi Kelly, in my experience the Kayali perfumes need to macerate and they smell so much better after. It happened to my Vanilla 28 bottle, I thought it was the most bland and basic vanilla ever, but after about 2 weeks It changed into the most delicious fragrance ! I make sure to spray 5-6 times so that air goes into the bottle (I’m not sure this is actually happening) and then I leave the bottle without a cap.

Omg really ? Olaplex did the same to me I thought I was the only one for awhile then alot of people commented to me it did the same to them. I left a comment on someone's IG and the owner of olaplex commented back to me and was so rude and basically said I am poor and bought a fake of Amazon and that's what I get and it doesn't do that her product wouldn't ever do that and all kind of rudeness and I bought the stuff off Sephora online and told her that . I couldn't get over how she acted to me when her product screwed my hair up bad which is already traumatizing. As someone that adores Tower 28, I wouldn't recommend the blushes or the SOS spray as the starting point. The blushes (while super easy to use and in good colors) fade really fast. I have dry skin and they do dry done on me, they just only last about 3 hours. The spray is just fine. It's also really dupable. I used it a lot when we wore mask, but I haven't really found a use since. In terms of anti-bacterial/redness reduce, the Peach Slices Azelaic Acid is way more affect for me (and I think you have that, maybe?). Like everyone else is saying start with the mascara (it so pretty, I still wear despite the fact it slightly flakes on me) or the tinted moisturizer (its my only base product). They're one of the few brands that middle shades are not an orange mess and they expanded the lighter end of the range earlier this year. The other ones I use on the daily is their contour, but that a color thing (yes, its very yellow, but I need that, so I could care less that it fade like no other) and their pencils (but their very different then your NYX favorites and use them on eyes/checks not lips, so keep that in mind). Side note: In terms of longer lasting cream blushes, cloud paints and rare beauty seems to stay a while (some of mine are over 3 years and I have had no problems), I can't see the Tower 28 lasting that long just based on packaging alone.
@TheMunchkinita2509 Жыл бұрын
Hey Kelly! So, in regards to the Tower28 blushes, they're pretty, but reviews I've seen are pretty split about whether or not they fully dry down or not. From what I've seen, people with super dry skin say they dry completely, but people with oily/combo (like Angelica N.) say it stays tacky.. and after trying it myself, I gotta agree. Personally, I hate when my cream products stay tacky and if it makes my hair sticks to my cheeks? 😤 There's no quicker way for a product to get itself decluttered lmao

Ph changing is always going to be the same color and the same color on everyone because we all have the same Ph. What would be cool is if a company added a component, like a base layer, to make a a Ph product become more basic or acidic and change colors according to the component.

I had a Tower 28 cream blush and.. imho it wasn't all that!! No dry down/stayed kind of sticky on the cheeks, color was more orange than I was expecting (I got Magic Hour bc it was the most neutral -- at the time they only had 3 colors), and I thought it was just OK. I did use it up, but I am not clamoring to buy another one. Also I have a drugstore hypochlorous spray that I love, so I'm not interested in any name brand version. Just my 2 cents! I keep eying the Rose Inc cream blushes, everytime I go into Sephora I swatch them and love the way they look, but I just haven’t made the purchase yet. Mostly because I like the 2 blushes I have now, why try something new if I’m satisfied? I do like k18 a lot but I think your hair would have to be damaged or weak to get good results with it. I really really like the Elizavecca CER-100 a lot more and it is cheap!! but it’s not vegan (many collagen containing products are not) so Kelly is not going to try it, but there are so many other things that work well. Lamellar waters are nice and affordable. A good leave in conditioner is amazing. A Deep conditioning mask. Any other bond repair stuff…so many other products to get decent results from rathe than one that costs almost $80. All that being said, I like to wash my hair, towel dry my hair, do k18, do a deep conditioner, than regular conditioner. Turn about your can use k18 before a conditioner. Takes a long time but it has made my hair super soft and shiny.

The pH shifting products remind me of mood rings. Except with mood rings I was mostly dead (black). Tower28 shouldn’t be slept on. Try the mascara and the tinted sunscreen first. Fragrance really is a personal choice. It is so dependent on your body chemistry. I can’t with any of the Kayali fragrances. They smell too artificial and too sweet on me. The only one I liked on me was the burnt sugar one. It was too sweet to buy on principle. I don’t do ScentBird but that might be your best path moving forward. It allows you to sample and wear a scent intensely before you commit.

I'm going to say something blasphemous lol. I splurged and got the Tower 28 mascara. It's not worth the $$$. I'll stick to drugstore

My daughter has the same same exact hair color as Amanda Z but long and curly. I’m always playing in her hair, practicing braids and she is 30 😂

It reminds me of the perfume Poison (Dior). It smells very good in the bottle or on another people, so my Mum wanted it. But on her, it smelled like poop, literally. Finally, reluctantly, after a long while, she got rid of it, and I didn’t want it because of the so bad experience on my Mum. Now when I see or smell Poison on other people, all what I can think of is that strange scent. It has such a great reputation though.
