I'm having so much fun watching these hiking videos and I don't know why! Maybe it's the serenity of the forest, the side adventures and friends or just listening to you say what's on your mind.

Amazing! I found you yesterday and I plan to spend the weekend from day 1 on your hike. I like how you show other things that most thru-hikers don’t. The museum is really cool! Best, Z2!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and everyone else that is sharing their videos and photos of their thru hike. Im eight months away from my PCT thru hike and I'm already scratching at the walls to get out there. I can't wait to get away from the constant sound of cars and sitting in traffic. You're doing a really great job with your videos btw! Safe travels

Day hiked by Dahlgren campground just last week 11/21 thought about all the gatherings of hikers that had passed through this year, now empty and quiet

Another beautiful treck. Thanks for taking us along Kelly. I was thinking we would get to see the absolute gorgeous foliage up to Maine. Unfortunately it's too early in the year. Where you're at right now the Fall colors are spectacular the last 2 weeks of October! I lived in Essex MD for about 5 years. And being a girl originally from Co. The little clumps of Aspen's in the mountains just doesn't even compare to the colors in Maryland absolutely stunning!!! As always safe and happy travels! 🥳

Wow so neat to be able to see in the museums at Gathland Park. They have always been closed or not shown on other hikers I have watched. The views from the cliffs were amazing.

I love watching your Vlogs!! I do have a question. After hiking miles in my shoes and my feet sweating, is there anything I can put in my shoes to make the sweaty foot smell go away? Besides buying new shoes??
@jackwalters3743 жыл бұрын
remove the factory inserts and replace with good quality DR S inserts order control. Also, try wool socks for foot sweating and order,

I was hoping to see the Ed Garvey shelter, but you definitely shared more of Gath park than what we got to see. The doors were locked when we passed through. Happy Trails!
@TheJhtlag3 жыл бұрын
Been doing day hikes of MD this past month or so, interesting how the Ed Garvey shelter gets passed, but it's just out of Harper's Ferry so it's not very useful NOBO I guess, maybe better for the SOBO crowd to Nero into Harper's Ferry. It's pretty cool though. Not an acquaintance, but me Ed Garvey back in the 70s when he worked at Appalachian Outfitters.

Just curious, I have been watching you on and off for a while. Do you think you will make katahdin before it shuts down. September and October the weather will start to turn at the higher elevations. Wish you the best of luck

I answer this question every video I post. I’m 500 miles ahead of where I am on my vlogs at this point. There is plenty of time to make it to Maine, especially before it closes down.

I love your videos not just because you are smart and gorgeous, you show us things other thru-hikers do not. You give us a well-rounded experience of what the trail is like. You show us so much more thean just trudging down the trail day after day. I'm following 8 thru-hikers this year and I always save you for last because you are the best. Please do not drop out like so many others are doing before you get to Maine. I would love to support you but I only do it through Patreon and I do not see a link for Patreon.

Hey Kelly! That was one hell of a blue blaze! Epic view! Really looked like a baller day. Loved the call with moms, you are gonna love it up here in New England, I know it! And nothing against RI, but you aren’t missing much if you don’t make it there ;) very cool campsite, and amazing that it’s free! Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. #giveashit -Grateful
