I ❤ your paper map route descriptions! Seriously smart work navigating the snow bridges. 👏 Seeing a thunderstorm when you're above treeline is scary; so glad y'all got around it ok. Take care 9L, you're doing great! ✌️

Those snow bridges can be very helpful when you know they're stable, but very sketchy with warmer temps. Same as crossing a frozen lake. Always trust your gut and use caution.

Hi Kelly, Just a word of advice about micro spikes. You should not glissade with them on. If your foot catches on the snow you can break your leg. If you must wear them keep your feet off the ground. Your hiking videos are great!

Nice shots of the scenery. You made a wise choice when attempting the snow bridges. You thought it first instead of just crossing. The slide down the snow I gathered you liked it. Fun! You did not have ice axes to stop your slide if you fell, but you went slow and thought things through. Wow! Yo saw a fox. Never have I but have seen coyotes and a wolf. Happy Trails!

Looking forward to seeing her post about why she quit this thru hike. The blogs are already reporting it. That’s why she’s able to post every day. I mean staying in a hotel or hostel every damn day isn’t a thru hike. Go hike for a week at most. That’s a adventure. 3100 miles is just plain dumb. I for one am glad she quit this hike
