That Raber guy tried to scam me aswell the absolute fruitcake, was just afk at GE in max range/tbow and he comes upto me asking for 30k feathers, adds me. Talks to me for a bit, asks where i'm from. Seemingly stirs up genuine conversation he told me he's from the Netherlands etc. It's super pathetic they try to socially manipulate you for some gold on a pixel game lmao. I was big on pvp years ago with clanning so i knew all the shit stunts people try to lure with. Did the same dd under him and loot the 2 whips while he drops an arcane 2 steps away. Very persistent, pretended i had to go and the next few days he tries it again and again more desperate each time.

While i fully support this i hope you understand your going to inspire a alot of people to attempt to anti scam who you know full well are going to fail despite you saying not to do it. Its very good to have content that highlights how people these scams work so people can avoid them but inspiring a team of anti scammers to band together will have alot of people try and fail. Hi Kemp. Wanted to say I love listening to your videos during my long work shifts cleaning. You've got a great voice for this kind of thing. I don't play OSRS because I started my journey in 2006 and didn't want to start fresh in the OSRS servers. However I do enjoy hearing about these kinds of things. Unfortunately we all play a game together that has a company that is very good at sitting on its hands at the helm of the ship, and when hands get sit on there becomes the issue of a commandless ship. OSRS's extremely out of control bot problems and the brazen money snagging problems over at RS3. I can handle micro transactions in a "free game", but when battle passes come out suspiciously designed to entice you to buy ranks with your money because the crawl to advance is infinitesimal in its initial release then I won't give you more of mine. Something is wrong if players who play their game for a living have to fix it for them so people aren't stolen from or having their lives threatened... It shouldn't be up to players to protect themselves from themselves. The business we pay money for should be taking care of it in our stead. It is a 20yo title and these problems are thing of the past in a lot of games today. You've had 20 years jagex! It is time to grow up and clean your room!

@KempQ I could tell you some of the things that I was a part of when I was 14. We mixed bug abuse with luring and it got pretty messy for a minute. This was 11 years ago, but I could demonstrate how dangerous dropping items in general could be. You never know what glitches the underground discover, careful when dealing with these people.

A friend of mine found a glitch that let you click the dueling cap and spawn an insanely high number of statues underneath a player. If somebody dropped an item, their item was gone. My friend didn’t lure, he showed me it and I leaked it to the whole community before I could do anything with it. All you had to do was convince someone at the GE to drop an item for 5 seconds and the item was gone. It was bad.

It was originally called a pet null, the game would think your player was logged out and you could drop an infinite number of pets under a players item. People were willing to pay billions for the thing, it’s crazy what people do for GP. My own “friends” of over a year were trying to lure me on alt accounts.
