For an ancestor to be " born into slavery" means: born before 1865. So 70 year old Ken Frazier makes the repeated claim that his father had a father who was born in 1865, or earlier. By 1915 this ' grandfather would have been 50 years old. Do the math and see that Ken Frazier has been fabricating an ancestry. And read about his career history with Merck. He started there as a defense attorney for Merck, after they used a spy, in a conference call, to steal a patent from a company called Pharmaset. Frazier did the paperwork for a settlement, as Merck was found to be very clearly guilty. He was made CEO after this, for whatever strange reasons. I would not call him a " fool" Not exactly. Early example of a DEI...maybe. Or maybe he just had so much Merck dirt in his files that they had no choice but to do whatever he wanted
