People liked the 123-kid, but they hated X-pac.. Waltman saw a bit of a rise in popularity again when he teamed with Kane again. He was a good wrestler it's just DX was a bad fit for Waltman. It was like the dorky kid hanging out with the "cool kids" trying to gain some clout. But, given how things we're in the attitude era he wouldn't have lasted long on his own, similar to Road Dogg or any other wrestler that didn't have the size or the over the Top personality to survive in the hyper competitive era that was the attitude era.

You can’t have the legitimate MMA fighter in the ring with Chyna in 1998 without making the legitimate MMA fighter look not believable. It’s a lose/lose for him in that situation regardless who goes over on who. A pro guy like shamrock it would have kept Chyna safe and it probably would have been damn entertaining, but good for him overall for sticking to his principles

Now kids, you know how daddy says never hit women? That does not apply to a belly to belly suplex.

Should have asked why his match with Chris Jericho got changed to Smackdown not at Unforgiven as his last WWF match after all that build.

Ken Shamrock probably just didn’t want to sell for a female which is fine .. Not everyone is like Brian Cage whom wants to put over Tessa Blanchard at every Opportunity

It seems like the direction for him near the end, was constant internal bleeding. Shamrock was awesome, but I hated how his career ended in WWE.

Any man selling in the ring for Chyna was laughable unless they were cruiserweight size. She was an absolute joke.

Ken Shamrock had that right. Its entertainment... yes, but he didn't want his kids to see a mixed message that dad was putting off to the world and then telling them something else. Kids that age would get pretty confused to watch dad beat up a woman of any size and then him telling them to respect women. He thought of more then money.

Montreal Screwjob was such an easy fix. Have Bret lose the title to Shamrock on Raw the week before it and then Ken could have dropped it to Shawn at Survivor Series. Maybe have Owen cost Bret the Raw match and Bret's final match be at Survivor Series vs. his brother in Canada. So easy, so sad they couldn't figure it out.

@@yomamma359 It's actually pretty easy, especially in the late nineties where there was so much spontaneous booking in both the WWF and WCW.

A lot of those midcard guys didn't really have a direction. Hell, JBL would take another decade to develop and he was there before the attitude era. I'll always remember guys like Shamrock and Steve Blackman, though.

Crazy that he never had a second go around at any point throughout the years. Curious if WWE ever tried and he just wasnt intetested or maybe they were never interested to bring him back. I would think it must have crossed their minds at some point.

Ken Shamrock never worked for WWE. He worked for the WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION. Oh how I miss hearing that. Who wants to be the World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT champion?👎🏾👎🏾 Who wanted to see Chyna destroy the women’s locker room every week? She HAD to wrestle men too.
