With respect to Da Lu, it was my understanding that Da Lu was teaching his Tai Chi at the UN he invited Professor Cheng Man-Ch'ang to teach with him. When Cheng Man-Ch'ang opened his studio downtown, most, if not all, of the students left Da Lu and followed Cheng Man-Ch'ang. Da Lu believed that Chang Man-Ch'ang stole his students. Now I am unaware whether Da Lu was a student of Cheng Man-Ch'ang or not, but Da Lu was a good Tai Chi practitioner with sticking ability. However, Da Lu was more interested in making money than teaching Tai Chi Chuan to his students. As a student of any discipline it is good to keep in mind as Mr. BP Chan always said: "Follow the principles not the teacher."

How come he didn’t mention TT Liang, CMG’s #1 disciple who came with CMG to New York to interpret for him
@NilsKlug2 жыл бұрын
Maybe he wasn’t around that time.

@@NilsKlug Hello, Love Your vids. I know that when CMG passed away, quite a few of the New York students visited Master Liang. I am currently studying with one of the Lineage Holders of Master Liang who was around at that time.
