Crimps are great when you dont have enough wire to join otherwise figure 8 and standard termination knots for me

You would need to cut the wire. Once the crimp is compressed, it is not reversible.

USE not utilize. Use the correct word, don't utilize the wrong one. Utilize means off label. I utilized my precision calipers as hammer. I used my calipers to measure .
