Just a PSA, heard a couple of US KZbinrs say 911 as the emergency line for countries that aren’t the US. And thought it would be good to clarify that it’s 999 in the UK (where this case is), and the numbers differ in most countries. Just don’t want anybody caught out if they are in a bad spot. Awesome work, Kendall. Love all your stuff.
@z.z.18762 жыл бұрын
112 is the most common, “the standardized” I believe - pretty much works in all Europe and many countries in other continents as well. E.g. According to Wikipedia in the UK it is automatically forwarded to the local number, 999 and the same happens in the US with 911. So, if you were to remember one, this is to remember! ;) (Maybe the KZbinr messed this up with 911?)

It is rather annoying that people can't research the countries emergency dial code that they are telling the story from - but Kendall is very good in every other sense so I don't mind too much though! But yes, it's 999 here in the UK 🤦
@alentia_thegreat2 жыл бұрын
When I was in Wales, the RNLI were letting people know to use 112 instead of 999, not just for coast. This is because when you use 112 the dispatch will automatically know your location and you do not need a signal for it to work. :)
@kdaveson2 жыл бұрын
Good point, i noticed an Aussie story being told recently that referenced 911 - our emergency number is 000, usually said as "triple zero".
@IndiaCarroll20012 жыл бұрын
What’s awful about this story is that allot of the RNLI are volunteers, doing this because they are good people, and getting a call like this (thinking there could be a guy in the water and they don’t know where) is really a distressing thing for them to hear. They dealt with that stress of waiting to find a body for 4 whole days

Thank you so much for your content. Your videos are currently the only ones I can ALWAYS watch. There's so much content out there that's just not right when you're not in the right mindset. I've had a difficult week and it makes me feel so relieved when I watch your videos. When I'm having a difficult time, I also really struggle to do chores, but your videos help me so much to tidy up my space and take care of myself. Thank you!!!

Kendall! I love you and Josh so much right now I'm working on watching all mile higher episodes in order but I've been asking for you to do an episode on someone missing that wasn't and I feel heard!

Being in the UK when this was happening was a WILD ride. The ITV series about this was absolutely brilliant, I felt so sorry for Anne. I really hope she’s having a lovely peaceful life with her sons.

I think Anne was very much involved in it from the start, so I don't feel sorry for her. The children I definitely felt sorry for though because what a horrid thing to do to those boys!
