Could've fooled me cuz mfs fell asleep during each of his disses 😂. If he didn't drop 30 minutes after Family Matters the beef would've already been over in Drake's favor tbh; neither Meet The Grahams or Not Like Us can compete in terms of musical quality, but the perfect timing allowed him to overshadow Drake completely. This whole thing turned into the Dr. Umar culture dorks taking their hate out on Drake for some reason. I wonder what people will think about this months from now, after the hype dies down

@@SirDoubleYou Drake is one of the most hated figures in hip-hop, meanwhile Kendrick has a fanbase full of FBA culture dorks so none of this is really surprising; he's just taking advantage of the pool of insecurity/hate that's already there. The video of that unemployed FBA girl crying in her car bc "A victory for Kendrick is a victory for Black America" sums up this entire beef. no Diddy is the perfect thing to replace pause, as it isn't associated only with men being uncomfortable with the mere appearance or suggestion of homosexuality. It changes the context from "This isn't gay." to "My intentions are not sexual in nature.". Diddy's victims are not all of one shade, nor of one sex. When you say "No Diddy." it should be viewed as akin to saying I am not a predator. Pause being used in the lexicon was always problematic No Diddy replacing pause is an evolution, as now instead of saying "I'm not gay, I don't rock with Gay." you are saying "I'm not a predator, I didn't say that to make you uncomfortable." Because it's okay to be a Homosexual, it's never okay to be a Predator.
@femi76318 ай бұрын
@@zonetekka8054 this makes perfect sense and I can't argue against your point but the reason I'm against it is when his allegations came out, most people were focused on him abusing men rather than him being an abuser period. Pause, while troublesome, has a satirical history thanks to the Boondocks rather than no Diddy which has a darker background. I'd prefer none of them being used but because the community at large was focused on the wrong thing in the Diddy case, I'd rather we use pause.

Kendrick lost, I know that sounds crazy but think about it, Drake got Kendrick to react and drop tracks constantly which makes Drake seem more important than he is. It was a setup from the start, Drake gonna let it drag until it serves him more content then retire from silence as the rapper that was “the bigger man” in this situation (switching places with Kendrick as far as giving drake more importance) Kendrick reacted instead of staying silent which would have shown the world how much Drake doesn’t matter, but instead this showed the world a messy side of black culture where the conscious guy is ripping a black person (even if drake is a vulture and mixed other people see him as black)

I've been going around looking for comments like yours. Sane. If creating such "faux wars" is so easy with 2 people who are set in life and people only are their fans? It's easy to see how easily governments can create wars by invoking the love for your country. People are quite blind. Also, the bar for "burns" has been set so high or so low that only more disgusting things will help each of the 2 get one over the other. I personally feel the Kendrick, out of jealousy cause he can't be as famous as Drake it, is trying to taint the whole biggest richest rapper alive position. Like "there's no such thing as a self made billionaire", "no such thing as a talented no1 rapper". This beef exposes so much about the black culture it's amazing. Diddy is a bad man, but if allegations for both or anyone are true? Then it will be a black-wife beetrrr and black syx traffiker. No body wins here and you know, the general person is enjoying, not the rap genius of Kendrick, but destruction of 2 huge pools of resources for black culture. And it's fun for them. Both are essential! Kendrick to keep the lyricscism alive and for drake to provide platform for black artists. More damage will just have the industry focus on other genres. "We fund these guys only for them to burn it all down?". Who wants to see that investment on their money? I don't, neither will anyone. People love the destruction, nothing more. This beef is in the long line of events where the community has successfully destroyed it's own resources pools. It's amazing.

@@f.c.2475 you said it right and exact. In fact We are seeing the actual complete end of hip hop as a mainstream genre black culture can claim with dignity it’ll go on but from an underground level because most of the world is shifting its eyes towards something they see as looking more positive, it’s now too tainted by the media to seem to promote artists beefing with each other, negativity and drama, the industry has successfully shut it down completely as what could of been a positive platform for Black culture on a huge scale. Kendrick remaining silent on a person who is not a role model for black culture would further validate his own authenticity from the outside looking in so no one can speak negatively on him since he as a conscious black man is not tearing down another black man on world wide media (even though Drake definitely deserves that punishment from Kendrick it’s also damaging too) this was basically a image crash out
