In 1950 white 89% population Black 9% today white 59% Black 15% .100 Million native Indians wiped out in 100 years only 3 million left today in bad shape and they still want their territory back . Thurgood Marshall wanted to avoid the problems in Kenya similar to the problems that racial minorities had faced in US . Targeting racial minorities or any other minority group in the long run is counterproductive and costly . Today most of the negative indicators in US affect Black and Native and other minority groups more than white it is costly socio-economically and politically . It is better for Minorities to be more affluent than majority . Majority typically have an established social capital than they can utilize outside government help . More than 80% of social conflicts worldwide are initiated by Oppressed Minorities . Banyarwanda tutsi in Rwanda . Ethnic Irish in UK . I think theres this up-and-coming african middle class who have much more public visibility than the majority of regular africans. And they have a greater affinity with the west. They live more western lives but quite superficially, they have western networks and western problems and talk about them as if they are real problems to everyone. I agree that they are real to them because of the more westernised lifestyles they choose to live, but they are such a minute part of the population that it ultimately doesnt matter. Just that they have disporoportionate public visibility through social media. To most Kenyans, Ugandans and South Africans opening doors and buying flowers means absolutely nothing. A man who works hard, pays the rent and childrens school fees, is kind and respectful and is a respectable member of his community is like gold. Many of these flower wielding, blessing, public affection performers are the guys who are off on the next conquest once they get what they actually want. They've just figure out that our girls who assume everything western is better fall for that stuff, thinking the west is a romcom. Not saying the western culture is inherently bad. Also not saying flowers and openning doors is bad. Im just saying that it has its pros and cons and dudes can easily learn a superficial version of western culture to play the field. The west is very good at marketing and the first rule is never show the the bad. Africa only shows you the bad. Africans are still getting married, raising and educating kids, starting businesses, raising themselves out of poverty, falling in love and all largely without flowers and opening doors. So its ultimately about mindset.

It's very interesting how ladies think it's all about them. A man is looking for something in a relationship too. Superficial stuff such as flowers are for jokers. If a man is thinking of how to handle real life, please don't confuse the trees for the forest. To a man, showing love is more important than saying how you love someone. There is nothing wrong in expressing love in our African way. If I don't hold your hand in public, it doesn't mean I don't love you. In fact, when you insist on holding my hand in public and remind me every other minute of how much you love me, then I start doubtling you, because you end up sounding like the ladies we see in the movies rather than just being real and showing me respect, loyalty and care. Also remember, if you want to see the soft side of an African man, you had better present yourself in your femininity. The latter is like a hot knife on butter; it melts a man's heart and ego. When you come in your masculinity, then it becomes a case of two men having to relate in a heterosexual context, and it is super confusing. Be tender, he'll soften; be hard, and he'll show you that he's the original rock of ages.

Sometimes a man is tired, stressed, etc. Why don't you rub his feet or give him a back rub? Some women are self-centered and that goes beyond whatever culture they are.

Of course their ideal man would be a combination of both, but if they cant find both the money and game in one guy they tend to explore. That's why most Kenyan men decided to be bare minimum guys coz why pay for something that some other guy is getting for free? This is what happens with passport bros and other foreigners dating Kenyan women, they provide the resources while some broke Kenyan is getting the goods for free.
