Dan is one of a kind! I first heard him sing Faithfully by Journey and my mouth hung open! Steve Perry is "the Voice" but even he has to give Dan a thumbs up! 👍 Know I have listened to his covers a hundred times! The harmonica was given to him by his dad at age 6. He lost him to cancer and he was devastated. I feel his love and pain in Amazing Grace.

I'm not a fan of most heavy metal, but I really love Dan Vasc. Listening to him actually showed me the amount of vocal ability and training and power that actually goes into good metal music. It's not just some guy screaming into a microphone. Dan has an amazing voice and the control he has over it is just wonderful. I've even began to appreciate other heavy metal somewhat. (And don't ask me how I discovered Dan if I don't like metal, I don't even remember. But I'm glad I did )

I like the psychological side of the song; this man is good at singing, but he's very surprising; he sang higher just on the first time, after he played a melody with the instrument; and after the solo he kept the audience intention like "what's next?" This version popped up in my KZbin and I was a bit intrigued. I had never heard of Dan Vasc before and loving this song, was curious about a “metal singer”’s rendition…. My mind was blown 🤯, my socks 🧦 were blown off and I needed to hear more from this artist ‼️There was a bit of chat after a couple of his songs 🎶and I liked what I heard him saying. I listened to a few more of his vids including his rendition of “the Star Spangled Banner” 🇺🇸… WOW and the Easter Egg at the end… I subscribed and became one of the many who enjoy his voice💜💜💜💜

I can never choose any "best" moments throughout Dan's performance of "Amazing Grace." I had never heard of him at all, until he posted it, and now I'm thoroughly hooked. I'm glad you mentioned opera, because I would love it if you would react to Dan's "Nessun Dorma." People are always saying that Pavarotti has never been outdone, on that song, but I think he HAS...by Dan. Also, Dan does three different covers from "Phantom of the Opera." One is a solo, the other two are duets with a female (two different ones--both equally great, themselves). Plus he also does a BEAUTIFUL job singing the theme from the "Beauty and the Beast movie, with one of those same ladies singing the female lead part. Every one of those presentations are wonderfully gorgeous. Also, I'm wondering if you've ever heard Dan's 24-voice, single person version of Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" from "The Messiah." If you haven't, you might want to. That one ought to REALLY have you worrying for his voice! He sings every part--including the high soprano. I've sung those parts many times in the past. They are definitely not the easiest in the world to sing, with quality and clarity, but...yeah...Dan...oh my! 😀
