I'd report that battery overheating issue to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. That is a serious malfunction that may result in fire.

I may possibly consider that. I could have gotten a lemon since no one in the reviews said anything about battery problems

I bought one a few months ago, and am less than thrilled with it too. I’m having the same problems. I can’t even get it to start now. I cleaned everything out, charged it. Will turn on fine without the stick attached, but if I put the whole thing together will turn on & then flash red and turn itself off after a few seconds. I’d return it, but it’s been too long. It’s a piece of $125 junk sitting in my closet at this point. 🤬

I had the same problem. It would work if the stick wasnt attached. At first I thought dead battery. But if it works without the stick attached then it’s the roller. The roller is supposed to spin and if it doesn’t the motor shuts down. I took it apart and manually spun the roller cuz something jammed it. I couldn’t do it without taking it apart. Once it was able to turn it and put it back together it worked. The motor in the vac spins a pulley that turns the roller. If the roller doesn’t spin easily then the motor shuts down. Hope that helps. I was just gonna throw it out lol but took it apart and works now.

It is an awesome replacement for a broom and pan. Beats sweeping hard surfaces. I would rather compare it to a swivel sweeper than a Dyson. Its a cheap end stick vac not a 500 dollar vacuum. Probably over worked the motor and battery as well as the gaskets constantly vacuuming carpet.

It still needs to work as designed. Its a cordless vacuum advertised to clean carpets and floors. Its not a swivel sweeper. Go for the Hoover Blade or a Tineco A10 Dash

I had the same experience. The Kenmore only worked for the first month. One day the roll got stuck with a little bit of hair and after deep cleaning it, it never stop sending the clogged signal so the vacuum never worked again

Yeah, same here it never had the same power again....and things would drop out when done vacuuming

It's a decent vacuum for picking up little stuff on hard floors, but then again I only paid 18$ for mine because it was on clearance at my work, so I guess its good for 18$ worth. I am kinda upset though, I charged it for a day and now it wont turn on whatsoever, Im thinking it probably overheated the battery like you said while I was at work. Not sure what im gonna do with it now, this thing wasn't made very well at all!

Hi, so I was having the same issue with the gasket where some of the air was blowing out from the holes on top & I originally thought that the problem was with the gasket but after I took everything apart everything seemed to be in order. Nothing looked out of place. It wasn’t until later when I removed the filter that it started working properly again & it got its suction back. Hope this helps

My battery lasted about 3-4 months. Irreplaceable. I filed a claim and they said they would send a replacement in 14-21 days. That was about 6 weeks ago and I finally called today, they said they are on backorder... I asked if I could just get a refund and he said if they haven't come in in the next month. Meanwhile I'm still without a vacuum 😐 Found this video while looking for a better stick vac, might check out the recommendations!
