Love the pause and re-delivery of the immortal "We Choose to go the Moon" line. JFK was a brilliant orator, but plaudits to Ted Sorensen. One of the best damn speech writers in Presidential history.

My second favorite of the Kennedy's speech. I can't help to not notice how distracted or uninterested looks the vice president, in fact, I bet if you had asked him what the speech part liked most probably would have answered something very simple in perspective to the importance of the far reaching implications of the vision's speech. Same that in the inaugural speech.

the fact that we didn't know how a Presidency was supposed to work is what made him a great president. He set the standard of fair exercise of power, exemplary leadership, and most importantly ,a peaceful change of power (he stepped down after 4 years instead of staying for life) are what shaped the country for its future success.

The peace core was created merely to make third world countries love capitalism more than communism. First world means capitalist, second world means communist, third world means undecided. Most countries fear making the choice because of automatic Russian and American involvement to spread their ways. Others just don't have the flow of economics required to fluctuate in either economic process/ideology. The fearful countries are right to fear because of the Vietnam and Korean War. Whose to say that if Capitalism were to spread that Russians wouldn't cause a war? It's weird how the hubris of two economic ideologies can hold countries back so much

I disagree with his dismantling of the tax system, his gun control policy, his notion that dismantling the UN would be a good idea, and many others. Even though he is the only Republican I can stomach, ANY Democrat is better. I'm sick of Ron Paul supporters touting him like he's the only peace candidate. His peace platform is the only thing good about him. Everything else would hurt the country.
