My grandmother actually got thrown out of his church, lol! My grandmother was on a fixed income and was financially struggling. She wanted to check out his church and she found out he preached the prosperity gospel. She was really hoping someone would bless her financially too. Half way through, they were passing around the collection plate and she grabbed it, muttered to herself that “I need some prosperity too” and dumped it into her purse. They caught her on CCTV doing that and they escorted her out, lol! They never got that money back either.

Slavery and rape and murder of large groups of people has always been justified by the bible. God(ie) Jesus never gave an instruction to ignore parts of the bible. In the modern times some Christians acknowledge that the contents of the bible originated as of the Bronze Age until 200 ad and no longer make sense , they are horrible. I was born into a Christian family in the 60’s, I was raised in church, my mom had me in church 4 times a week and up to 11 times a week. When I would hear the word revival I would shudder. Two services on Sunday, one every weekday evening and two on Saturday then two again on Sunday. I remember when I was in high school, my mom would watch these scammers, the original Trinity broadcasting network, PTL, the 700 club, she had that garbage on all day long. Especially Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, She was always writing them a check for whatever they were grifting for, I can’t imagine how many tens of thousands of dollars she sent to these jerks. I kept telling her he was a scam artist, he was a crook, and she would say “touch not my anointed”, and rebuke me. I remember when I was in high school, shout out to class of 1983, I came home, after she had seen some special about the devil in the music, backward masking and all that nonsense, to find out she had burned my albums, some old classics, all gone. And she ruined my dad‘s barbecue by doing it. Melted plastic all over the grill. When Jim Baker got caught slipping little jim into his secretary, my mom did not believe it, she said they were lying and they had set him up, she still supported him all through the criminal case that sent him to prison. She watched all these jerks right up till she died in 2013, including this creep.

My first year of teachering was as a kindergarten teacher at a private Christian school. I enjoyed the actual job, but my bosses (a husband and wife team) loved Kenneth Copeland. They spoke about him as if he were God and they really worshipped this man. I was expected to believe in his teaching, even though that was never mentioned when I interviewed for the job. @@ctawolf8230 You need to realize that there were 12 tribes of Israelites. Two tribes were Jewish called the 2 Southern tribes of Judah, those who practiced Judaism. Then there were the ten Northern tribes called Jacob later called Israel, where the name “Israelites” comes from. All twelve tribes were Israelites, but only two tribes were Jews. The gentiles Paul and the disciples were preaching to were either Greek converts to Judaism or the elect diaspora, grafted in descendants of the tribes of Israel who were dispersed among the nations. Through the ministry of the disciple’s great commission they were called out from the nations to again be a holy nation of kings and priests sealed for the day of redemption which only they lived to see. Nobody today is a gentile of that sort. Even if you believe you’re a part of that group, you are not.

They had no one land, so they were supported by the other people in that way. 10ths were stored and used by the Levites, elderly people, widows and foreign guests. Also, tenths were donated to holy festivities in the temple every year. It is easily compared to the social system we have in many civilisations. Living in the Netherlands, I pay about 30% of my salary to taxes: we have strong social system. Therefore, I do not feel any obligations to pay 10ths what so ever. Interestingly, 10 in the bible (and other sources) often has a symbolic function of completeness and responsibility. I therefore take the 10ths as a challenge to share in my wealth.

I've seen first-hand how these prosperity preachers specifically target poor desperate people. It's easy to convince a million people to send you $10 if you have a suitable platform. Faith is a avenue to worldly riches for Copeland nothing more. If someone could convince me that all my problems could be solved for under $100 I wouldn't hesitate, but fortunately faith is a affliction I have yet to contract. Prosperity gospel appeals to the same impulses that compels people to play the lottery or go to a casino with one exception. No one will ever win the prize offered by prosperity preachers because it's a complete lie. Occasionally someone will hit the lottery or leave tbe casino a winner.

Excellent video, Todd! I live in San Antonio, TX. Up until last year I attended a prosperity gospel church, a well-known preacher by the name of John Hagee. His son Matt is now a pastor there as well. I don’t know what year it was but Kenneth Copeland was a guest at Hagee’s church. The prosperity gospel only works for those who preach it. Good analogy with the lottery! John MacArthur, a pastor in California, said that if you go to Las Vegas, you can expect your money to be taken as it’s run by the Mafia but it’s another thing to have your money taken by pastors who claim to represent God. The prosperity gospel is a false gospel. Many are misguided but Kenneth Copeland is demon-possessed. I commented on your video regarding Paula White. Thank you again for this video!

Andrew Farley in Lubbock TX ( where Copeland was born ) is one of the top notch Grace teachers around and is Pastor of Church Without Religion . And with respect , who are you to say someone is not saved because they have another viewpoint about a particular pastor or a church meeting place , ie church. I don't agree this 'plandemic' now into its third year is as dangerous or deadly as the world has been told it is. In fact I think it's a fraud , as much as Copeland appears to be. In many people eyes , I'm not facing reality because I've never been tested, never been jabbed , never intentionally unsociable distanced myself , never wore masks ...and never believed the MSM hysteria . I'm 64 years young and never spent a day in fear over this Scamdemic/ Plandemic. Does that make me an unbeliever in Christ and a selfish human being to everyone else who was and is afraid .? I don't put any man Godly or otherwise on a pedestal like I use to. We are all saved by Grace and Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of our faith... This Dr Grande speaks alot of sense concerning the 'prosperity gospel' . First time I've heard him. But even he appears to think ' social distancing' was necessary during the height of this 'thing' when critiquing Copeland . I don't know what his stance is regarding the jabs or masks or the tests etc. But whatever they are , I've made up my own mind by listening to those I believe know what's really behind the last two years . One thing is for sure . Without Agape Love in our hearts which is a fruit of the Spirit , everything else in the Christian walk of faith is meaningless.
