It really depends....if you come from a humble background, your value system is different...you don't value money or material things, you value faith, family, morals, like honesty, truth, respect, kindness, honor, and friendships... why lose your soul for the love of material wealth, when you can have Heaven!! ♡

This is one of the most meaningful music videos I've ever seen. This video shares a message that is so lost in today's society, today's society says take take take but that's not right cause it's not about what you take it is about what you give. I hope people who watch this video take the time to sit back and think. I grew up in a small town where people hold doors for people and say have a nice day when you buy something at the gas station and that's the little things you should be doing to brighten someone else's day because you never know what that one "have a nice day" can do, that may be turning point in their day and help them get through the day. I hope people who have been watching this video like I have get the purpose of this video and pass on the good spirit of this video to someone else.

I agree totally with the above well said. Inspiring speech at the beginning, I wish tutors said that to my class when I was at school.. be so call if they actually took that lesson and applied it to the world. Understand your self , your skills, make them work and manage your finances you will have a rich or comfy life.. So many people get that process wrong in this world and blinded by ads and promos that they for for get that..

"16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."-John 3:16-17 "9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."-2 Peter 3:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."-Romans 10:9-10 "51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."-1 Corinthians 15:51-53 "13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."-1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Then Jesus called the crowd to Him along with His disciples, and He told them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and for the gospel will save it. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in His Father’s glory with the holy angels.”-Mark 8 34-38

As a lowly person with little finances and material possessions, I consider myself rich because of my "spiritual possessions." The best and most valuable gift I have given and still give is HOPE. Sharing my gift of hope and a positive future for many has saved marriages, several from suicide, and freed some from demonic torment. I learned the information for free and applied it for free. My ministry, being able to answer life's questions and give hope has been the greatest gift I have received and shared.

I have been a fan of Kenny Chesney since he hit the charts in 1993. That was a challenging year for any artist of any genre to make an impression because it was the year of Garth Brooks's four biggest top hits. But Mr. Chesney still was there with his song "Whatever It Takes." He paid his dues, slowly moved up, hit again in 1997, and finally took off, and has never stopped since 2002. With over 30 years in the industry, this man has repeatedly proven he deserves to be considered one of the greats of Country music - and the music industry as a whole. With hard work, dedication to fans, great songs, and crossover appeal, he has all the boxes checked for legendary status. He has maintained a hectic tour schedule for most of his career. He sells out stadium-size concerts in cities where country music stations have a small market share. The size of his audience was due to his continued diligence in publishing songs that were crossover hits and a fast-growing fan base willing to drive long distances to see him perform. He has encouraged listeners to enjoy country music along with their preferred genres. He published this song in 2017, a testament to his intelligence, awareness of society, and the need for everyone to become more aware of their values. The song encourages us as individuals to evaluate our materialism. At the same time, it does not criticize the listener for not doing so. Adding John C. McGinley as the professor adds weight to the quality of the video and the need to stop, watch, and listen to the meaning of what he is presenting. As an actor with impressive filmography and a recognizable voice, his clout makes people know what is about to be said is essential. If you are not looking at the screen, the first time you hear this song, you don’t know it is a Kenny Chesney song. Mr. McGinley is the first sign of the importance of the video and music. Like Marvin Gaye’s “What's Going On (1971),” this song will have meaning for many years. “What’s Going On” was rereleased in 2019 with a new video and reflects on society at that time. The video focuses the listener/watcher on what is happening around them. The lack of caring for the less fortunate and the ugliness of the population's mindset. It makes an impact 60 years after its release. Unfortunately, as of 2023, intolerance is prevalent, and there seems to be no end in the foreseeable future. Mr. Chesney has many songs that make us remember our childhood, sweet romances, and enjoyment of life. “Rich and Miserable” encourages the listener to self-evaluate, reflect on society and think more about what they can and want to give back to make small but meaningful contributions to humanity. This song will continue to play, moving up the charts again as people start looking for hope in the future. FROM WIKIPEDIA AS OF 2023: Kenny Chesney has recorded more than 20 albums and has produced more than 40 Top 10 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, 32 of which have reached number one. Many of these have also charted within the Top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making him one of the most successful crossover country artists. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

Everyone is praising Chesney for the song. Let's give CREDIT To( Mr. John C. McGinley) The Actor portraying the Professor. His superb performance is the light that opens our eyes to the meaning of this Song. Mr. McGinley selfless portrail in his role is what really grounds this videos meaning.

A lot of Karl Marx rants and writings sound like this professor's speech. My word is ''Autonomy''. According to Google, this professor is worth over 10 million, and Kenny is worth over 150 million. They possess their autonomy because of their asset collection.

3/10 Come the day we go to the hospital I was scheduled to have a c-section due to the head circumference as I’m getting prepped for surgery I’m feeling both anxious and excited. We asked the nurse to put Jana Kramer as the music playing during the surgery which was perfect. Up until that moment Chad and I hadn’t fully discussed what the first name was going to be because we wanted to wait and see her first. He knew what was on my heart but it was his choice, when we both laid eyes on her however all questions went out the window. The doctor asked us if we had a name picked out and we locked eyes and smiled, then he uttered Jana Grace. That was one of the most wonderful moments I have ever experienced. Shortly after being born she had to be taken to the NICU where she stayed for a few days and we were released on Mother’s Day! A week later our little warrior endured brain surgery to have her shunt placed. Later that month she was admitted and spent many weeks in the hospital soon after because she wasn’t gaining weight. Six months later she had to have emergency open heart surgery and weighed only 12lbs. That was an excruciating 2-3 weeks to bare and not just because of sleepless nights on the hospital floor because neither of us would leave her side, but just watching our sweet angel endure what she had. Thankfully and by God’s grace after she had her surgery she soon began to take off developmentally. When she was born the doctors told us not to expect her to walk, talk, or even ride a horse. The talking came first and finally by the age of 3 she was walking. We kept holding on to the Hope, Faith and LOVE (which we have penned as hers because Jana Kramer has a song called “Love”) and God saw her through. She is the one that has taught us Love. She is still behind but it progressing at a comfortable pace.
