Just received this two days late and better late than never. I have only one thing to say how sad Kensington Place looks. Dorans, Casa Mia and Little Italy great Restaurants and have good memories and good nights eating good food. Ah change is it all for the better I sometimes wonder but nothing will ever stop it. cheers

Hi Lloyd, yes pretty dismal. Hopefully things will pick up ......but do you remember when it was cheep to drink out in Jersey? Those days have long gone and I'm afraid Jersey has priced itself out of the tourist market! 🙁

@@thereluctantoutdoorsman Just the other day I was pricing up a 4 day stay in July (flights,hotel,car hire etc) and I could have a week stay in Tenerife 🤔, we never actually went drinking in the town mostly pubs old and romantic 😀 Old Smugglers Inn,La Marquanderie and Old Court House just a few that stick in my head 😁

Wow! Yes, crazy isn't it? Mind you, if you are into walking you can't do much better than walking around the coast of Jersey! Talk of all those pubs is making me thirsty! 😁😁

Hi Ron, yes it was on the Esplanade. I think it was somewhere between the Jubilee Hotel and Funland but I may be wrong and it could have been the other way, towards the Grand Hotel. Someone must know what building standing today replaced it.............I'll try to find out! 👍

Ohh dear, Kensington place looks terrible,! Used to go in the Stafford on occasions, how things change... & not always for the better too much finance in St helier & not enough for the tourist, thanks Tom for showing us around & the changes.

Wow 😲 times are a changing Tom hotels gone New hospital coming Kensington place 🤔 maybe it will happen my friend ✅ it was supposed to be built behind the Christina hotel and that changed 🙏a lot of smiling faces for that 1 no Paddy 🐕🥩🦴 today the only Italian I ever visited in mid 70s was San remo for spag bol wow superb place I wonder if any of your followers had the pleasure and who knows the name of the goose on the green before it changed ✋ hands at Beaumont? Wow them were the days my m8 anyway Tom thanks for the 🎥 Pal always remember the red card days when playing football 🤔 against the Arora stay safe my friend John 😊😊

Hello John, how are you keeping? I've asked a few people about the old name of The Goose and no-one could remember. I'll try again! Golf is about the only sport I haven't been sent off in............I managed it in football (two or three times), hockey and rugby!⚽🏈🏑 Not bad huh? 😁😁😁
