Very cool video Scott, the .500 S/W is ok,but I'm much more partial towards the .460 Smith & Wesson because it's a much more flexible aall around caliber,it'll shoot all the heavy stuff up to 400 grains, but yet you can load it with .45 Long Colt, then if you want to go hunting or you're doing long-range silhouette shooting, you can load it up with .454 Casulls. It's a much more flexible to shoot and it's cheaper to shoot.

@@bloopy6166 I'm not partial to anything just yet, but I've heard revolvers are quite reliable. That same friend who took me to the shop had me check out his handguns before we went. He had a Beretta and a Glock. I love the feel of a Beretta. It has a nice weight and it feels solid. The Glock felt like it could break. Then shortly thereafter I went shooting at the police range and they gave me a Glock to use since that's what they carry here. When shooting theirs it felt more reliable than when I was checking out my friend's. I think when I'm ready to make my first purchase, I will end up buying an assortment. I'm fickle. Watching Herrera, Kentucky and others has only piqued my interest in even more. But as far as the .500 goes, yeah, I'll wait for someone else to buy it, then offer to buy the ammo to go shooting with them. Lol.

There's something about Kentucky that breeds handcannon use, I had a 4 1/2" 500 and loved it, I thought it was perfectly balanced, sold it and bought a 6 1/2" 460 ( because it shot 454 and 45 long colt), I love it and will never part with it, I shot it once next to a 500 gal propane tank, ( off to the side) , and the concussion rapped that tank let I hit it with a sledgehammer!
