I will be going to Edinburgh in Scotland. My main goal was first to get a job and go to the UK then later I can look for a job on my profession Which is hard to get when in Kenya

Its would be interesting to hear what actually changed for you within when you got there to uk.what advice would you give a girl in kenya seeking a visa via partner interms what to expect in terms of culture?Also curious to know what the age difference was.I just would like to advice you for your future if you do not want any advances, avoid being alone in males house or your house.The culture in the west is different.Thats why many ladies europeans insist on paying for themselves.Also be careful if you party.Based on this video its sounds like lt was just an unfortunate situation, he genuinel loved you to provide all the stuff.And you loved but he did not meet your idea of a husband

Hi, thanks for the information.I am also trying to apply for teaching job but don't know where to and how to apply. I only know that it should be a school in London. Could you guide me which school should I apply ? I mean I have no idea which schools are will sponsor visa. I am in teaching field already .

Unfortunately, this is not something I can help with. You're gonna have to Google schools in London and do further research from there. The UK Gov website has a list of companies and institutions with the sponsor licence

Thanks for sharing in such detail Tess! Weh! You've done A LOT! QUESTION I think you mentioned needing to prove you and your Husband intend to settle in the UK ... Is your husband a British citizen? Do you then need to apply for citizenship for yourself later on after you've settled there? If you and your Husband decided you wanted to relocate to Kenya ... do you have to wait and live in the UK for a certain amount of time first? Also if you ever decided to come settle back in Kenya, does your Husband now have to go through a similar process on this end?

It is a very bulky application for sure. 1) Yes, we both wrote in our cover letters that we intend to live in the UK permanently. 2) NO, he's European, settled here. 3) Yes, citizenship is after 5 years or thereabout

3) Not really, but being outside the UK for a certain amount of time, I think it's 6 months, can affect the ILR/Citizenship application. But once you have citizenship, I guess you can easily relocate without much effect.

4) Yes. Kenya has its own settlement process for foreigners.
