There's this Nigerian who's pursued me for 16 years, even after I got married had a child and got divorced hes still pursuing me. I've told him I don't want him, but he's persistent. Weuh true about naija boys. i remember a story in Dubai of a kenyan girl alikua come we stay na mnaija then she got pregnant. All the while the guy was buttering her na lifestyle poa dubai. so he convinced her that he would marry her but first they should travel to meet his mom/family first the travel to Kenya. the girl tried to convince him that they should travel to kenya first but he didn’t budge so naija it was. so as the girl, pregnant was busy shopping for the travel and cleaning house up coz they would go away for several months, weuh she came across her own death certificate!! turns out boyfriend was a big time dealer na he wanted to use her dead body to transport 💊. You are so right about having a vision as a man which the woman can help build on. For me, it was the opposite, I had a vision and was already established in my life and career. I met a man who had no goals, no passion nothing and he was an alcoholic. I worked hard to try and bring him on board in vain, so I was doing it all. I was angry all the time and he was frustrated at my anger. He wouldn't keep a job because of his drinking. I eventually left and started building my life as a single mom here in America. I've achieved a lot, but I know I would have been much further along if he had agreed to take on responsibility. I hope this message gets to every man

When I was attending college in the Raleigh Durham area, I met this Nigerian who really charmed me. We started dating but my good friend who was a Nigerian warned me about him. She told me Igbo men don't marry women from other cultures. I didn't hid the advice, but I remember he suddenly became very hostile towards me. Luckily I was about to graduate,. As soon as I graduated and left North Carolina, he married an Igbo woman.
