No one ever mentions where the thumbs should rest correctly on the grip, in relation to the centreline of the grip- which is, the left thumb should rest slightly to the right of the centre line and visa versa for the right thumb.

You're absolutely right! Thumb placement is an important aspect of the grip.

No one ever? Exaggerate much? I’ve only been hearing that for 45 years

I've been going through gloves a lot lately, because of thumb and inside pad of my palm wear, I've also been pulling a lot of shots.

Could be connected 🤔 Let me know if adjusting your grips fixes your pulled shots.

Hasn’t Adam Scott changed that now where you actually does it out to the side at full extension and has the toe of the club down?
@kerrodgraygolf16 күн бұрын
Adam Scott has definitely made adjustments over the years, like all golfers evolving and finding some better strategies that work for them. He could potentially be doing this for a different feel during his swing? Hopefully during the video you got some great strategies on the grip for yourself.

Both of my fore fingers take a beating

Interesting. Obviously grip plays a part, but excessive hand action during the swing can also cause that. Flipping the club at impact, can put strain on your fore fingers.

Why because you’re gay? Once you heard Adam Scott, that’s all you could think about and you stopped thinking about golf?
