I think Mark sounds better imitating Tom Araya than he does using his natural voice. I thought the last couple Death Angel albums were really good. Slayer and the other classic thrash bands went from small clubs playing in front it maybe 100 people to arenas because of Metallica. When Metallica crossed over with One and landed the Monsters of Rock tour they dragged everyone along with them. Even Megadeth didn't really get huge until the story broke that this guy was in Metallica. There's a reason Dave won't shut up about it.

Mark sounds great. Metallica did pull everyone else in to mainstream success with them. Although some would argue the music suffered for it. Dave Mustaine helped give Metallica just as much as he has helped himself. They both have ridden each other's coattails imo.

@@mattmillerguitar I would absolutely agree that the music suffered for it. A lot of the bands that tried to pivot and survive the 90s failed and those who succeeded just weren't the same bands anymore. After Rust In Peace Megadeth wasn't Megadeth anymore. 90s Kreator was embarrassing.

@@JD-vj4go I still am trying to forget how excited I was to buy Kreator Renewal ☝️🙄on cassette and the next 30 seconds involved me throwing the cassette out my car window…. Nothing will top buying Cold Lake when it came out either on a separate note🙄

Solid performance but a total snooze fest... Vocals are a saving grace verses Tom's voice that should have been shot behind the barn years ago
