Kerry Muhlestein is one of the best teachers out there. He never fails to deliver meaningful lessons that will bring you closer to Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. This talk/lesson is so excellent, and 100% worth listening to and putting into action.

WOW!! Excellent, powerful, and needed!! We need more sermons like this from the pulpit. I've loved every book and talk from Brother Muhlestein; such a knowledgeable, wise and gifted teacher. Consecration is the thing we need to grow into more each day - in thought, in word, in action. Thank you!!! I'm passing thus one on to loved ones!

Kerry, I just sent this message to my missionary son!: (thanks for your message) I learned about consecrating to the Lord. I decided to consecrate my travel time to him and to give away a Book of Mormon on my trip to Utah on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab one. I took an Uber to the airport. I don’t like talking to the driver but I did as part of this consecration. He asked about my family and I mentioned my son was serving a mission in Brazil for our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Turns out he had done some scouting as a youth with his neighbors at the church growing up. In short, I was able to invite him to the SD temple open house once it happens and since he drives a lot, I shared the Book of Mormon app with him! While I didn’t get to listen to my audio book!, it was an enjoyable ride to the airport! 🙏

The blog this week by Conner Boyack is "The Law of Consecration". My thoughts lately have been on the law of consecration. It appears that Christ is preparing the Saints to live the law of consecration in the D&C revealed very soon, and brother Mulhlistien is trying to help more Saints to hear the call to prepare.

What a profound idea, to consecrate what we do with our time, our thoughts, to the Lord. Likewise, that Covenants and Ordinances, are about creating relationships, relationships between God and us, individually. Rather than meaningless ritual, Ordinances reveal the power of God to create a personal relationship with me. Somehow I knew this but it never became obvious until Brother Muhlestein pointed this out. Wow. Thank you.

Whoa. That hit me. I struggle to truly study my scriptures over even watching gospel-centered youtuve channels or other mind-numbing shorts of entertainment. Ok. That hit hard. Made me grateful than on my drive around town that I chose to listen. ❤

Seeking personal revelation from Our Father in Heaven is the greatest source of learning. We should seek learning from the Lord, "ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you ... The Lord has much to teach us if we will diligently seek it and involve Him in our learning.

A thoughtful response to this comment would be appreciated. You introduce the Isaiah quote about milk and being weaned from the breasts (28:9). With Bruce Porter speaking of the Church teaching milk, us learning on our own meat, and the mysteries as something God teaches. I hope I have not misrepresented him. So, is milk something mature gospel students need regularly? Adult mammals, humans and cats excluded, stop milk consumption upon weaning. Or do we move on to cheese, yogurt, and ice cream with more complexity and perhaps acquired tastes? For consideration of group thought.
