I'm so mount and back attack oriented I feel like I have really under-utilized this position in my game. Thank you for sharing! It's given me a lot to think about.

There is always an Ezekiel in addition to their being a lot more Kesa attacks...there is way more you can do.🙏

If you want to improve even more this position that you "hate", then you should work on your leg positioning :) : - *Back leg* :The way you use your back leg is a common mistake, even sometimes in judo (though more common with people with a wrestling background). The *knee should touch the floor* to avoid the leg being caught (then you are rolled over), and the *feet should point backward* to prevent the opponent from sitting up. - *Front leg* : The front leg should be *extended* (not bent) to *prevent your opponent from bridging* . Cheers

@@user-md2fm7ik2z You are welcome. I do not mean to promote a different channel but here is the best video I have seen out there on the fundamental mechanics of kesa gatame: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5zGh4qda6uAq5I It is the way I was taught as a judo kid in the EU and I am always baffled that such basics are missing in 99% internet instructional videos.

How do you go from Scarf Hold(not Modified Scarf Hold) to Mount?
