The thing with powerful social anxiety that some people don't understand is that it's possible to break through it given the right risk and motivation. What even fewer understand is that once it happens you aren't miraculously cured. One of the things i really like about this show is how they portray her after these moments, proud of herself and happy but not immune to the whiplash, often crashing soon after once the adrenaline fades.

this is... largely incorrect, except Bocchi and Kita's singing. Nijika drums are stereo. Some elements are more in one ear than the other. For example, the hi-hat is louder in the left ear than the right. Ryo is dead center of the mix (as bassists tends to be in a studio-produced album) and Kita's guitar is on the left.

i come back to rewatch these clips alot. Bocchi The Rock! helped me get over a very real and serious delusion i had about myself, so much so i secluded myself away from others. watching it and realizing however that the only thing holding me back from doing anything and shooting for the stars was myself. and so slowly, i worked on that. i started talking to people, i started to socialize, and for the first time since i lost my dad in second grade, i began to live again. i'm a senior in high school now. the amount of people this series has impacted is surely far more than me, and it's probably changed so many lives that my one little story is insignificant. even so, i'll share it and get more people to watch it, to grow kessoku band's fanbase. the music i listen to on a daily basis, not only because they're just amazing songs, but also as a reminder of how far i've come. thank you, bocchi the rock.
