Sir what supreme Court did was , it upheld the ratio of R v. Burah , which talks about the plenary powers of the legislature. It is one of the most landmark cases and till date the principle applied there is still upheld. Keshavananda Bharti is the landmark judgment with regard to the concept of Fundamental rights , and please also go though the concurring judgment of Justice HR Khanna, it has the best observations noted down. This paved the way for the ADM Shukla dissenting judgment of Justice Khanna.
