My wife and I love the book and use a recipe at least once per week. Thank you for a great cook book Sahil. I hope you sell a million of them or more. My favorite recipe so far is the pork fried rice (cauliflower rice).

@joemann79713 жыл бұрын
@@peaches.peachy You can always substitute similar things. I think Psyllium husk is healthier since it basically just fiber, which is largely why I think he went with Psyllium Husk. You could use almond flour, coconut flour, even pork rings for the breading part, with the pork rings probably being the most unhealthy but most tasty. Things like chicken thighs can easily be substituted for chicken breast. As long as you season it the same way, it should taste fairly similar. The main differences will be in the texture and the juiciness of the chicken.

@Axel Yehuda Why would you do that? I don't use Instagram. Is it a place to cheat? I ask out of ignorance. If you need to hack your girlfriends account, is she really worth having as a girlfriend? I hope you didn't find anything hurtful. If she's hiding her account from you then either it's none of your business, or likely you're going to find something not so good?

Okay, gave this a try tonight. I was so surprised by how good the psyllium husk worked! I tossed the pieces 5 at a time in a bowl of the breading, tossed them around and then took them out one by one. The sauce was not to my taste, but I probably put the wrong proportions in. It needed to be sweeter and more acidic. But I will try again!

My sister and I have been known to spend two days cooking all sorts of dishes for our "homemade Chinese buffet." We cook all kinds of things like BBQ pork, ðumplings, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour pork, fried rice and wonton soup. Now i think we'll have to add this General Tso's Chicken. And I love the idea of breading the chicken pieces on Psyllium husk. I'll try it for the sweet and sour pork as well, just as soon as i can ketofy the recipe. Thanks so much.

I haven't tried your recipe, but I heard you mention the chicken loses crunch after a while. Well the same problem actually occures with a regular flour coating. A trick that I learned from a Chinese classmate is to fry the chicken twice. Then it keeps its crunch. No clue if it will work the same with a non-flour coating. But you can always give it a go. Hope this helps. Take care!

Between the fun banter about coating the chicken, having a fantastic BM the next morning and your dad talking about the origin of General Tso - I am completely entertained and wanting to try the recipe. Regularity is important. 😆😂 This would be a good way to prepare Gobi Manchurian or chili gobi with a few tweaks! Just give it all a good mix. Or toss. Or whisk.😜 PS I voted Dad would say it’s well seasoned. He seemed on the fence though.
