Notes modified: Two cans coconut cream or coconut milk. Add 1 TBSPN agar agar mix well then turn on Sauté button. Stir. Bring to simmer. Turn off. Whisk. Let cool for 30 mins. Add 4 probiotic capsule powder (or 2-4 TBSP yogurt.) Set 18-24 hours. Put in refrigerator. Save yogurt to use as a starter for next time. No need to buy more capsules.

So I made my yogurt per the video and maybe this is why you have modified it lol it was like water! So this time I’m going to add flakes then simmer on sauté then turn it off then let cool then add probiotics as you have stated above lol.

Thank you so much! Other videos make it more complicated with extra unnecessary steps. Thank you for making this a very easy recipe.

This is JUST the recipe I was looking for!! Have a recipe that calls for the ingredients you are using but a little confusion on how to use instant pot. You explained and showed how so now that I have everything I need, I've gotta make it! Just trying to decide on what time of the day is best time to start it. I started loving the Cocoyo yogurt but it's SO expensive!! Would like to figure out how to make chocolate yogurt. Cocoyo isn't overly chocolate but just enough! 😉

I found out that you need to mix the agar agar to the cold or room temperature coconut before turning on the sauté or boil mode. It helps prevent clumping and blends better.

Can I make a bigger batch of yogurt than just two cans of coconut milk?

Yes! You can easily double this recipe!

Looks so promising! Have you ever tried it with coconut milk that comes in the carton? I wonder if that'll work, given enough agar agar, culture. and time.

Thanks so much! It *should* work. I haven't tried this, so can't say for sure.

Thanks for the video! Is there something I can substitute for agar agar or can I just omit it?

I've seen other recipes use unflavored gelatin to thicken it! I haven't tried this, but it should work great. I'm not sure of the measurements needed.

What about organic beef gelatin!??? I use that as a thickener for everything…

Why does this yogurt keep having excessive amounts of water in it? Is that normal am I supposed to stir It

Natalie, what if my capsules are only 10 billion each? Should I add 20 lol? If yours are 50 billion each and you added four?..

Well I tried the recipe. Disappointed as it seemed like the right consistency and thickened as it cooled but it has no tartness of yogurt.....just coconut cream. What did I do wrong? Followed this recipe and took it out after 22-1/2 hours. I really want it to work. 😞
