Oh my gracious!!! Just made these with my husband. He is such a stickler for choco. chip cookies. He was the biggest skeptic! However....he LOVES these cookies! We only had a 3 tbs scooper so we made larger cookies and just baked them for 11 minutes. Perfect!!! Thank you so much for giving him a tasty alternative! Keto does wonders for his neurological health, as he does suffer from a seizure disorder. Thank you so much for what you do!!! New forever fans right here!

I just made them. And it is the best tasting keto choc chip cookies I ever baked. I couldn't even taste the coconut flour. A BIG thank you Annie! And I wld like to share my experience so your fans who find themselves in the same predicament as me can learn from my experience: I only had almond ground natural i.e. raw and with skin on. So I decided to go ahead with using this, and I kept all the other ingredients same as in the recipe, I got 12 cookies from dough each weighting about 3 g. I baked them in 2 batches at 175C for 11 to 12 mins. Since I used raw almond with skin on the cookies were darker in colour but it taste wonderful. I hope this info is useful to others.

Hi there! I made these cookies and they came out wonderful. I used Allulose for the sweetener and I didn’t have coconut flour so I substituted tapioca flour and they turned out wonderful. I’m going to buy coconut flour and see how different the texture is. Even though these were absolutely delicious, I didn’t have to flatten them, they spread out the same way regular cookies do. Ty for the recipe ❤

Ok, I admit it, these are pretty good. We’ve been lazy keto for 3 1/2 years so it’s been that long since I’ve had a tollhouse cookie. I used 1/4 C brown swerve and 1/4 C monkfruit. I like that they aren’t overly sweet like some keto cookie recipes. It’s not a tollhouse by any means but we were pretty happy to eat a couple warm out of the oven. Thank you!

I must admit how hard this must be to make recipies for the low carb world. I attempt to shy away from almond flour because of oxalate. Others can't stand the taste of coconut flour. I am so thankful for all of you putting up with and trying to help us...!! Ty...

Made these tonight. They have some coconut aftertaste so not sure about the claim regarding the coconut flour. Perhaps I needed to mix more or use another sweetener or chips. I went with erithrotol / mokkfruit blend and Lily's semi-sweet chips and these turnred out ok but didn't meet expectations. The texture is also a tad grainy. I recall with coconut flour it's advised to let dough rest for a biit, maybe next time will do that.

Hi, I've been making these cookies for quite some time now. I make a batch almost every week, sometimes even more often. They are very good and work every time. And I have made them so many times now, I don't properly measure all the ingredients anymore, I know the recipe off by heart. So I made a batch last week, and the mix was a little too dry (my mistake). I should have added a little more melted butter to the mix to fix it, but was feeling a bit lazy, so just added a 'dollop' of thickened cream. Enough to bring the mix back to the correct consistency. I think the small amount of cream really helped the finished product. For me, cookies (or cake) made with almond flour are sometimes a little 'chokey'. So I usually eat them with a drink of some kind to help me swallow them more easily. Adding the cream made the cookies more moist and smooth, and certainly easier to eat - even without a drink. Give it a try and see what you think. I think I added about 3 - 4 tablespoons of cream - roughly - to the mix. The cookies were so much better I have since made them again the same way. I made the recipe the same as normal, and then added in the extra cream, which left the mix a bit too sloppy. Then added just enough extra almond flour until the consistency was back to normal again. This seemed to work fine. Enjoy...
@lindajohnson89405 ай бұрын
Thank you! This is helpful advice! Mine were dry
@Jako85575 ай бұрын
@@lindajohnson8940 Hi Linda, yes adding some heavy cream really helps a lot. Experiment to find the amount of cream that suits you best personally. The cream certainly makes them more moist, but less crispy, so find what you like best (I use a fair bit of cream now, maybe a third to half a cup (I don't measure) - and just add some extra almond flour, and a little coconut flour at the end to get the right consistancy for cookie dough. I have experimented a little more since my post, and have had some success making strawberry cookies by adding a sachet of sugar-free strawberry jello to the wet ingredients (and adjusting the normal sugar down a little to balance the mix). I then make them as normal, and I use white chocolate chips for these cookies. The strawberry version does not need so much cream, as the gelatine in the jello sachet also offers some moisture. I like these for a change, as I make these cookies quite often (and freeze them) - my wife likes the strawberry version as well. edit - oh and just one more thing, it is important to only bake the cookies until just going a little brown on the edges (just a bit), then take them out, dont touch them, and leave them to cool to room temperature. They will continue to cook, and will go from being very very soft and mushy, to a proper cookie consistancy. They are easy to over cook, and go too dry. enjoy...
@jillmccormack5941Ай бұрын
You do realize that you never say exactly how much chocolate chips you add to the recipe right?
@Jako8557Ай бұрын
@@jillmccormack5941 I dont measure the choc chips, I just add what feels right 🤷♂ Up to a point it doesn't really matter. I guess I add about a quarter, or a third of a cup, but if I feel like more I just add a little more, and if I dont have any, the recipe works fine without them as well. They are an 'add in', not a integral part of the mix. enjoy 😁

I did the one cookie version, 4 tbsp almond flour, 1 tbsp coconut flour, 1/8 tsp or less baking powder and soda, salt, 2 tbsp butter, vanilla, liquid stevia and cookies were very brittle and fell apart when picking them up. I haven't, yet...I use Lupina a lot. I prefer it for most things. I'm planning to make it as written, first, then try with lupin flour. I use Lupina because it's made from sweet white lupin, and isn't at all bitter, I have read some brands are. I would think that any nut flour would work.
