Sprinkle a little water on your baking tray to make the parchment stick...just as good, and easier clean up!

Yes ! I use parchment paper alot now for easier clean up so the water idea is alot better. I hate cleaning greasy pans !!! 😂❤

You can sprinkle parmasan on the bottom of pan before you pour and more on top and it's crispy enough for pizza. Bake on higher temp till brown.

I just found a pamphlet that my doctor (now retired) wrote and gave me 8 years ago because I was pre-diabetic and should be doing keto. Of course I didn't listen at the time, but I finally started keto exactly 3 months ago. My favorite bullet point in the pamphlet "You already ate your lifetime of carbs". 👍😂

Sorry to be that guy but the two are actually different things. The maillard reaction is the browning reaction from cooking amino acids with sugars. Caramelization is literally just the burning of sugar. ;)

Mine had burnt edges and was super floppy. Added a bit of shredded cheese and it was much more flatbread-like. That’s the only way I’d make it now.

I saw that Shredhappens also added garlic to his recipe for the flatbread. I just made this this morning using Shredhappens exact recipe, and it was marvelous! 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 1 clove garlic and a small handful of cilantro. I used a 9x13 parchment lined baking pan, and it turned out perfectly! So glad you featured this flat bread recipe. So simple, and all ingredients are at the ready always in my fridge👍🏼. Thank you ladies!

I used lactaid cottage cheese and my mixture stuck to parchment paper. Was I suppose to spray the parchment 1st ? Anyone can help TIA

@@rosabotello9676 that may have made a difference. I usually use full fat cottage cheese. Try leaving it less time also. The cheese will spread as it heats, that’s a given. It takes a bit of tweaking to find what works for you. Sorry I wasn’t much help. Oh just remembered, to firm it up you could try adding some protein powder. I do that a lot lately, and have had excellent results.

Cottage cheese pancakes - 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 2 eggs, blend, then add almond flour a T at a time until the mixture is like pancake batter (about 4-5 T flour). Spoon out into little pancakes and cook as normal. Yummy!

I have that recipe, I top mine with a mixture of melted butter, a drop or 2 of maple extract, liquid sweetner, tiny bit, I don't like it too sweet. Or diced strawberries when in season.

Happy to report back that my lasagne was a great success! This holds up as well as regular noodles. I added dried basil, oregano, and fennel to the “batter”. Simply amazing!! Now I know how I can buy massive quantities of cottage cheese when it goes on those fabulous sales, I’ll just make them and freeze them and be ready to go.

That's what I'm going to try. I've been trying everything to find a good replacement for sandwich thins since i tried the Arnold Keto Thins. The 90-second recipe on my Aldi Almond Flour pouch has been a decent replacement for English muffins, but it's a little dry.

@TacklingTheGiants I tried it with baking powder. It rose a lot in the oven but deflated out of the heat. But I felt like it held together better and had a little bit better flavor. I had to really grease the pan though for it to not stick.

So I'm a Keto newbie and was trawling through KZbin looking for something to eat last night, hungry and depressed😰. I decided to try these this morning. Was not impressed when they came out of the oven looking anaemic, so stuck them back in a bit longer. Probably a mistake as it became a bit crumbly. BUT I persevered and loaded with faux bacon, avo, mini toms, little onion (I know don't shoot me!), cucumber, lettuce, mayo & hot sauce. I wasn't holding out much hope. BUT now I'm eating it. OH MY GOSH!!! I thought it would taste like an omelette but it doesn't! On its own it tastes really cheesy, so I didn't need to add cheese to my flatbread 'sandwich'. Next time I'll try using full fat cottage cheese as my supermarket only stocks low fat. Thank you!!!

Hi! I didn’t love the texture, it was still eggy. However, I used a piece as a crepe rolled up with whip cream and cinnamon. Then I put another piece in my air fryer until crispy, like a cracker.both of those applications of this recipe were very good!

This is my first youtube comment. Just wanted to thank you both for your hard work in the kitchen to share delicious low carb recipes that keep us food satisfied and motivated to stay on track. This flatbread recipe is a game changer, with many possibilities! For instance, I wanted to share an amazing dessert I made by layering 3 inch squares of the flatbread with lemon cream filling. 1 oz softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, juice of half lemon, zest of whole lemon, and sweetener. It was like a lemon Tiramisu. There is enough protein to have as a meal. Filling and delicious!

Definitely toast it! If you have a crisping pan for pizza it could work. Toast it some then add sauce and toppings and bake till hot and bubbly.

First and foremost, I LOVE YOU TWO!! Watching your videos is like visiting two, fun friends. I made this flatbread. I didn’t spray the parchment with any kind of non-stick spray and my bread stuck to the parchment paper like wallpaper 😂. Did that stop me? Heck no, I pulled out my big, flat plastic spatch and scraped off some pretty good sheets of the bread. Sandwiched it up with some fresh spinach, turkey cold cuts and Whole30 mayo. Mmmmmmm, yummola!!! I didn’t even mind the tiny bits of baked on parchment paper- it was that good 👍🏽- Thank you for helping me change my life ❤

I just want to say I made chaffles using your most recent recipe. But I used Kerrygold Dubliner natural cheese from Costco. OMG. It was incredible. You have to let them cook longer to get crispy. (Like 8 min.) Also it only makes 2 chaffles I think because it's a lighter cheese. I put a tiny bit of salt and a good amount of cracked pepper and Italian seasonings and garlic. Then I mixed 2oz rotisserie chicken,1 tb ranch dressing 1 tb, no sugar sweet relish with lettuce.. I served it with tomatoes. So so good! You gotta try it with this cheese.

Nice video girls much appreciated The cinnabon rolls nice to take ANYWHERE i think the cinnabon pancakes a great easy HOME TREAT ?!! Hmm I’m finding recipes for the keto milk. I find that delicious. & I don’t always have to fool with buying the almond milk and so forth, and so so simple to make. Just Cream cheese / WATER BLENDED WOW I love having this in my fridge 👩🏻😊👍

Too much egg flavor sometimes makes my stomach turn.. so im glad that it doesnt have a strong egg flavor.

I made it and was a bit short on cottage cheese so added 2 tbsp mozzarella and 1 tablespoons almond flour. Loved this!!

Thanks for the video ladies. I tried it twice today. The first time was a crash and burn. The "flatbread" stuck to the parchment paper even after cooling down. I guess not all parchment paper is created equal. The second attempt using cooking oil spray worked out nicely. Going to try chaffles next, can't give up my smash burgers.

LOVE this "bread"! Now I'm trying different things i desperately want modified to keto/ketovore. Just made my mom's lasagna and used this bread instead of the egg noodles her recipe calls for. It works!!! NOW I can make this a lifestyle!!

It looks like it would be eggy so I'm so glad that you both said that it doesn't taste like egg or Cottage Cheese. Will definitely give it a try and I agree that 1/2 would work for a meal. I'm not a fan of cottage cheese, but its more of a texture thing ...its weird.

Made 1/2 recipe right after watching. Unfortunately, the only cottage cheese I had was the low fat version - purchased by mistake when in a hurry - but it seemed to work okay. Tastes fine but I think it has a few more carbs. Well, a success nonetheless. Thanks.

All the cottage cheese in Canada is full of fillers, gums and corn starch, but I'd LOVE to try this. Do you think this would work with thick yogurt? If so, would you use the same amount or less? Thanks!

I have been waiting to try these. BUT our AC is out and we can't really use our oven.. it is getting cool again so I am going to try this on Wed. I also want to try the Cottage Cheese pizza bowl. The thing that sucks, is that the CULTuRED Cottage cheese is 6 bucks for 16 oz... yikes..

It came out of the oven looking 👀 good, lightly browned. I love it when you realized the pan was too large and you said, “We didn’t think this thing through.” That’s so like 👍 me. Cottage cheese bread 🥯, what a great idea. Thanks for sharing this recipe.😊
