I’ve watched at least 15 “how to snatch” videos and this is the first to explain that heel lift that I see competition do. Thanks

This is a really good video. I always lift my heel when doing snatch or cleans. Not only does it help the lift, it also feels a lot better on my knees because it keeps them from locking out quickly like you see a lot in hard style kettlebell.

I’ve been trying to figure out the snatch for the last month and this technique unlocks a lot of the problems I’ve run into. Thank you Also, it seems like alot of the heel movement makes the back swing seem more like the “pendulum swing” variety, would you agree?
@Agatsu4 жыл бұрын
Glad you found the video useful. Yes the heel lift helps with the pendulum

Love the video.I struggle with my snatch and this was helpful..but at the end you talk about a free excerpt from the ebook? I would love to BUY the ebook but would also like to preview the excerpt before I plunk down my money. The link in the description takes me to the page but I don't see where the free excerpt is? Anyways, even if you guys no longer offer it I am sure if I invest in the book it will be great info!

April Harkness Hi, sorry but that offer closed a little while ago. The ebook is well worth the money.

Sorry about that. 9 years ago when that video was posted there was an ebook offer. Now we have some amazing online programs to help people learn agatsu.com/pages/memberships

Absolutely myopic way of thinking. Perhaps you have been blinded by marketing. Weight transfer, efficient movement, strength & endurance to name a few benefits.

But for power training you don't need kettlebells at all. There are dumbbells for that
