Update: We ended up having to send this back after having some issues with water flow and the burner. We talked to Keurig and they told us it needs to be replaced. Just wanted to let everyone know.

At least yours turned on. My brand new Duo didn’t even do that. To add insult to injury, Keurig expects me to pay for the return of their poor quality product.

Sorry to hear that. Keurig's quality/customer service has gone way downhill, in my opinion. We switched to a Hamilton Beach a year ago and it is still going strong. @@gram8821

I purchased one for my office I assist homeless veterans with finding employment, training and housing, so I wanted to make sure that they had some coffee to drink. I noticed that the water tank doesn't make a full pot which was one of the reasons why I got it. the 12 oz only made 6 cups in the carafe. It said to use 15 scoops for regular and 12 for decaf, but using 15 really made the coffee over flow. I will stick to 12 no matter what. I'm going to use the single side for tea pods or even coco pods.

I got one about two years back. I really like it, especially the one cup, I use it all the time. But cleaning the machine, I got in a bit of a tangle; I used vinegar. I followed the instruction taking the k-pod out, pressing the 8 (for the one cup and the carafe) after and starting it. just a bit of water/vinegar came out, I did it again and again, and after I started to used fresh water and ran it through the ''descale'' message was on. on of the time. the same thing, just a bit of water came out. I thought I broke the machine. I was upset, went to bed knowing I wouldn't have my coffee in the morning. The next day, the same thing again, and ''descale'' was still above of the time. So I decided to try to put a k-pod in the single cup tray and run it through as if I was making a cup of coffee, well it worked, not the first time but after a while it made a full cup, I ran it until the vinegar smell was eliminated completely. I didn't waste a k-pod using the same one for maybe 5 or more times. Finally the ''descale'' sign was out. I made a cup of coffee the regular way and it was fine. Happy I didn't give up and purchased another coffee maker. I think the next time , I will only run the vinegar and water through the regular cycle to make coffee using an empty reusable pod. This machine makes the best coffee ever.

I just purchased one of these. Love it so far...so many K-Cup options. Great for a cup of coffee on the way to work. Not much for drinking coffee actually bought it for tea and hot chocolate, but now that I tried it with a couple of K-Cup Coffee's I am enjoying coffee for once.

💚💙💜 the review. I have an older model that is programmable 4,6,8 and 12 cup pod and you can do the pot but it can only be used with loose coffee in the pod thing and they do make bigger pods for a carafe or for a mug. They are hard to find in stores and need more so to be bought through Keurig. I 💚💙💜 it though and this my second one in many years . This one I got for Christmas about 10 years ago and is still going strong. I just never use the carafe feature due to every one in our house drinks different kinds of coffee there are 3 of us. Thanks Ericka! That is great yours is still going strong after 10 years! This is our 4th Keurig in probably around 10 years. The first one stopped working and the second started leaking. Our third one is fine still but we keep it in our trailer. We haven't used the pot on this one a lot, I think we will use it a lot more for company than for ourselves but it is nice to have the option! Thanks for watching!☕

I had one but the motor died after 1 year 3mo...was so bummed cuz I Really Really liked it...All features were Great..this is the only one I didn't have to pull out from under my cabinet cuz it was shorter..believe it or not I got another one..If it happens again I won't be getting a Keurig again & I've had Keurigs that lasted years..hope this one last..It is my favorite..

Hi Barbara, I really liked this one too and I don't blame you for getting another one! I hope it lasts longer than the first one did for you. I don't know if you saw my pinned comment but we ended up having to send ours back after not very long because of the motor. I would have gotten another one myself because we liked it so much but they were no longer available on Amazon at that time so I just ended up getting another type of Keurig at Sam's Club. I said the same thing, if this one doesn't last, I will be done with Keurig even though I have had them for years.

Ironically, I ordered the Kcup Duo from Amazon, received the Essentials model on Sunday. I had to request return from the seller, which was a hassle, and I am still waiting for refund on Friday 😡 Anyway, I ordered the K Cup Duo from Keurig.com ($25 cheaper👍🏻) on Sunday, received on Thursday. If you are talking about the filter, it just drops down in there on this model. If you have the K-Duo essentials model that has the slide out for the filter, that is a pain that doesn't work very well most of the time.

Great review. Have you had any issue when making a full pot and trying to pour it into a cup of it spilling? Mine doesnt seem to pour very well from pot to cup without it spilling everywhere.

You would have to just fill the water reservoir to about where 4 cups would be since there isn't an option lower than the 6 cups on the machine itself.

I would say it isn't as hot as the single cup side but it is pretty hot and stays that way with the burner!

Yes, but since there isn't a button option for less than 6 cups, you have to do it by adjusting the amount of water in the tank. If for example you only want 4 cups, only put 4 cups of water in the tank.

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem. When a brew a carafe of coffee the coffee grounds are all over the place where the water spurts out and also behind it and in the grooves. Is this normal? It is really hard to get it cleaned. does maybe that place where the water brews release somehow to clean it?

I would personally just make it on the K-cup side if you are only wanting to do a cup or two. It's a lot faster that way because the carafe side does take longer. It's also less hassle. You can do less than 6 cups on the carafe side though. You still press 6 cups but only put in how many cups of water you want to brew in the water tank.

Hi thank you for your video! Do you guys know if I can use a re usable k cup? The one I have won’t work, is there one out there that would? I noticed when the k cup top closes the needle is a little more closer to me rather than in the middle to where it would go right into the re usable k cup. Also on the box mine says K-Duo B. But it’s the same one as yours. So this machine is called K-Duo? Thanks again!

Yes, unfortunately. The heating plate wouldn't come on and it wasn't pulling enough water at one point.
