No-one would call Connery the best actor of all time in terms of his pure acting skills, but godamn there has never been anyone who commands the screen as much as him.. didn't matter who else was next to him, Connery would steal your thunder... I've met many actors and famous people over the years but I had the fortune to meet Richard Gere and Connery at a bakery in a tiny town in Wales for the film First Knight years ago... Gere had his head down and didn't want to risk people coming to talk to him but Connery was smiles all over and more than happy to engage with anyone in that tiny bakery/cafe .. he said the town reminded him of home and that he saw the welsh as kin.. the guy was tall, but he seemed 9 ft tall that day.

This appearance has a back story. If you remember his Britney Spears monologue, he mentions that he met Kevin at a party, and Kevin was pissed that Craig had taken a cheap shot at him recently. But Kevin decided to be a gentleman and interacted professionally. Craig said that that's when he decided to not take cheap shots at people. I think that's why Craig is so happy here. It's let him know that his amends to Kevin worked.

I noticed that!! This is my first time watching this interview [didn't know about the back story] I noticed Craig was pretty professional with Kevin VERY VERY respectful the most I've ever seen him, he usually makes them laugh with funny awkward questions and stuff. Craig would've totally joke about Kevin's stories but he hold back a lot.

@@xScooterAZx, no, that's not what I mean at all. Nothing wrong with not being a jokester. And "over the top" would be antithetical to what I was describing. So, no. That's not what I was referring to. I was (iirc, I'm not going to rewatch it to check) referring to a lack of obvious presence or charisma. So-called "star quality", as it were. Plenty of leading men that aren't jokesters or over the top -someone like Henry Cavill or even Kenneth Brannagh- can bring that kind of presence without having to be "big" like a Will Smith or RDJ.

God, really? The best in where? Cumbernauld? Look, i agree he's multi-talented in many respects. But he's just so dog-damned tediously insistently sexist; he's like Benny Hill's stupid nephew who doesn't realize that style of humour is not just decades out of date, and it's also not just not funny, it's also really damn unhealthy, for individuals and society. The sooner he can be booted off air the better for all concerned. And yes, i'm saying this as a middle class middle aged male het-type white guy. That sexist BS should have gone out with Benny Hill's lights, and it sure as hell needs to go now.

Julian Warmington. Is this your only CF interview? Seems not. You've watched a few of his starlet interviews and disapprove of his interviewing technique. Well thank the god of good taste for that. His female guests may *appear* to enjoy suffering through his boorish tedious archaicly out-of-date chauvinist imping, but that would be because they are professional and doing their jobs. He might consider he's doing his job, but pandering to the foolish old boy's club who never grew up makes for pretty lame viewing. But hey, it's TV with its (previously) captive audience; why some people still haven't learned to switch off is beyond me.

Love this guy..I first saw him in No Way Out..amazing film with an ending you were not expecting at all..I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it..but I definitely reccomend itbuf you haven't..it also has the fabulous Gene Hackman in and Sean Young... its edge of your seat stuff..I think the only duffer was indeed Waterworld.. loved Tin Cup..Black and White with Octavia Spencer and Hidden Figures again with Octavia Spencer..this man can pick a script.. obviously the biggies like Dances with Wolves ( I still cry at the end).. Field of Dreams..Bull Durham Robin Hood and of course The Untouchables with Sir Sean Connery..love Yellowstone too. We're just getting the second season here now.. and yes he's still as sexy as hell..love his drawl..along with his eyes and arse..sorry couldn't resist..🇬🇧💞🐾🐾😎🤣👏👏👏

I was just about to write the same thing when I saw your post! I think “ No Way Out” was one of his first films- and it was FANTASTIC!! And HE was fantastic- it’s one of his best movies!! Seeing it, you just felt like, “ WHO IS THIS GUY?!! He’s going to be HUGE!!” The movie was captivating from the first scene, and just built and built and built… Talk about edge of your seat!! And the ending does not disappoint!! It too is fantastic! Run- don’t walk- to get a copy of this movie to watch!!

@@barbarahamlyn922 you are right not many people have heard of this film as it was his breakout role..I'm suprised how it is rarely mentioned in his film lists..at the end my mouth just dropped open saying WHAT !!. The only other film that got me like this was Jagged Edge with Jeff Bridges and Glenn Close..i actually jumped out of my chair at the end when the glass broke in the door..love films like that..so well written and acted..you sound like you have good taste in films..have you seen The Notebook and The Help ?.. both wonderful films..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👏👍😻

Silverado is really one of my all-time favorite movies, but there's not a movie of his that i've seen that i didn't love or at least really like. talent, looks, brains, class, and as far as i know no weird sht like scientology or scandals. and not "too big" to be on this show. makes me want to watch the ones i haven't seen and re-watch the ones i have.

Costner was originally set to be in Django Unchained as a brutal nasty character named Ace Woody - a slave trainer - on the Candyland plantation (you can read it in the original script). He had to drop out, and Kurt Russel was then signed on for the role but then also had to drop out. The character was cut and subsequently mixed into Walton Goggins' character, Billy Crash. Would loved to have seen Kevin Costner in a Tarantino film; but it's not too late yet...
