I never understood it myself, I understand the talent but what does that have do with the truth. Kd can win with nothing less than a spectacular team. King James beat KD in 2012 because the Heat was the better team, just like KD beat LeBron in 2017 and 2018 because the Warriors were the better team. Regardless of whether or not anyone knew why KD left Russ or not, I was more disappointed with him choosing a historically great team in the Golden State Warriors. And that’s what I heard from people I spoke with… Felt like a easy chip and looked like it after it was done. I was looking for him to go to Washington or almost anywhere but a 73-9 team.

KD's biggest mistake was signing a four year deal in the first place and should have went the lebron route and signed a 2 year to see if he really wanted to be in Brooklyn. He thought he could pull a harden and woke up to the idea he is locked up and has no leverage to do anything. IMO he did it for his boy kyrie after he didn't get a max but they was gonna try to move on from Kyrie regardless after his no-shows. People gotta realize though KD doesn't truly care to "fix" his legacy. He even said this himself by acknowledging he blew it by going to warriors and ring-chasing. Not much can really mess up the optics more than that after we all called the man a snake for 3 years because of it lol. What's a trade request gonna do in the grand scheme of things?
