You don't have to be best friends to win. MJ and Rodman hated one another; but on that court they locked in so they could win. KD is just a guy that needs to feel love, like a family atmosphere. KD was never happy about the way OKC played..You just couldn't say it out loud when you were still with the team. Though he was the best player on that team..Russell Westbrook often took more shots than KD. Westbrook was more of a scorer than a facilitator and that was why OKC was never able to get it done combined with mediocre coaching. With Westbrook running the offense, OKC was so limited and predictable and KD was forced to play in a kinda iso-ball offense like the Cavs. I genuinely think KD made the right choice to go to GSW because of how they play and share the basketball. Most basketball players would love to play in that environment. It was just a little unfortunate that they were also the team that beat you a year ago..but that wasn't a big deal in the long run.

The reason OKC didn't make it to the finals is because of KD not Westbrook. The one thing that infuriates about KD insuating that Westbrook was too selfish or that he couldn't win a championship with westbrook at point guard is that KD was largely the reason OKC gave up their 3-1 lead to the warriors, Russ played great and deffered shots to KD in cruchtime but KD consistently chucked bad shots and shot them out of the game.
